Hi,

I am subscribed to Spotify, BBC sounds and Amazon music. I have previously been connected on Sonos with them, however Sonos told me they were no longer connected and wil not reconnect with anything. It will go through the process of authorisation, I'll get a positive answer from the host company, but on returning to the Sonos app, it tells me that there was an error connection. Images below of the two replies. How do I connect the above services?

You may have some sort of wifi interference or other network issues that are blocking the abilities of your speakers to reach either your router, or beyond, to the specific servers operated by those companies to serve the content. In addition to the data in that FAQ, I’d be looking for software that blocks ports / connections, such as virus protection, VPN , or other software. MS defender has recently pushed a data set which has blocked a lot of Sonos users, for instance, and we’re all waiting for them to update their definitions in order for many systems to work again, but in the meantime, the solution for those users is to disable Defender completely. This might be something that you need to do.

However, these are just educated guesses, if you want true answers, you should submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of recreating this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it.

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the phone folks, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and network.
