Hi Sonos, I recently purchased the Arc & Sub. I have connected it to my Sony TV KD-85X9000H. The sound will randomly turn off for 10-15 seconds.I have tried unplugging the TV, Arc & Sub. I’ve checked the HDMI cord (the one supplied with the arc). I’ve even hoped it would just go away - if anything if feels like it is getting worse or just irritating me more. It doesn't matter if I’m watch TV or Netflix etcObviously very keen to get this fixed as soon as possible.Any suggestions?
I have two (2) Sonos One speakers paired with Beam. For quite a while these have acted as surrounds for my Beam, however today I noticed my right speaker was blinking a white led. I tried to identify this but all I can find for blinking white is the unit is rebooting. I hard reset the One speaker and returned it to factory. Once blinking green I can add the speaker to my room. This works fine, and I can play music on the speaker just fine. Now the issue comes when I tell the Sonos app to add the two Sonos One speakers as surrounds. The app plays music on the left speaker, I select that speaker in the graphic on the app and say continue. I wait a little bit and the join as surrounds fails and the left speaker is now flashing with a white led. It appears this speaker gets stuck in a reboot loop at this point. I’ve been through this process about five times. And nothing seems to matter, as soon as I add the speaker as a surround it fails the add and starts back in to the reboot loop. Fl
Have the following Sonos equip:playbarsubpair of surrounds Issue: when router reboots, the playbar is no longer visible in the system. Attempts to resolve via the app are unsuccessful. However, if I plug an ethernet cable directly into the router, at least sometimes I can get the playbar to be visible again, but the sub and surrounds can’t be added to the room the playbar is associated. Have had this problem almost since day 1, and am getting pretty frustrated with this equipment. Have contacted support several times, and they were unable to resolve.Have other wireless devices on my network (TV, smartphone, laptop, DVD, etc.) and they all work fine after router reboot, so don’t a router problem. Have tried setting the router to another channel, and no luck.Any advice?

We just cooked up a new video that details how to fix common issues with Sonos. We’ve installed 1000+ systems and this video goes over problems we see when we haven’t originally installed the set-up.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKC93O1YRLQWe made a video previously but that was more for jobs where we installed the network and optimized the system settings. This may be more helpful for the public. Thanks,ATD
Hi All, I’ve 4 products (Beam, Bass & 2x One SL’s) which were working fine until recently where my Asus RT-AC88U crashed and needed to restore. After restore I’ve not been able to restore the system and had to perform factory reset to both One SL.I’ve gone thru the community link for ASUS router setting and have done the needed settings in wireless to prevent the disconnection issue. Disable Airtime Fairness Enable IGMP snoopingNow, if the products are connected via ethernet cable - they should up fine on my S2 App. However the min they are removed, they disappear shortly after with a message - unable to connect to Sonos. On top of that the S2 app on my iPhone OS 14.01 keeps crashing. It will not launch despite quitting the application and restarting. This is driving me insane as nothing has changed except router was recently restored and both SL also restored and re-paired via ethernet and subsequently removed and allowed to connect wirelessly. The next time I attempt to open the S2 a
I have a Sonos 5 (wired) , Move and ZP90 (wired). All devices and apps are updated. I get dropouts listening to Amazon whether on any of the devices. When I do, the list starts over. I do NOT have issues playing Amazon HD or otherwise from any other device. I submitted diagnostics a few mins after the most recent occurrence. Reference ID: 1049189223
I have a very odd issue with the behavior of a couple of Sonos one’s and a couple of Play:1 devices. When I look at the DHCP lease of the devices, I do not see their Mac address listed but rather the Mac address of the device that set them up last. This is causing a number of problems because I need to add a reservation but it fails because there is a different lease with the correct mac address but for another IP address that is not the one that shows up when I look at the devices connected to my wireless. Has anyone seen this behavior?
Rear surrounds keep cutting out when watching tv
So I have a Connect and a Play1. I got help from support yesterday upgrading my Play1 to an S2 and my connect and Play1 were working too. Today the Connect wont work with the S1 application. I did a hard reset and tried to install it as a new system. It works well until I need to join the SONOS network. At that point my iphone does join the SONOS network, but the app thinks it has not done it, so it says plug in an ethernet cable. I do this but then the app says my device needs S2!! This is bogus since it it a Connect and the Connect only supports S1. So I am stuck.Sonos support is closed for 3 days until Tuesday and I am stuck with dead system. Any helpwould be welcome. I am sure others must have been down this road before
Hi Guys,Long time Sonos user with little issues.I have an issue which is seeing one room constantly disappearing from the controller, and can only come back via a factory reset and reconnect. I’ve swapped the speakers from other rooms, and the speakers are fine, the issue is no matter which speaker goes in that room, it drops off.I was running via wifi, then disabled it and put a hard wire into the speaker. Same issue occurs.Any ideas what could be causing this? Thanks, Tim
This is not a new problem for me. I’ve been trying to rectify for over a year. When I use the playbar through an optical audio cable from my TV, it sounds rich and full. This is the case for all sources (antenna channels, streaming, and DVD/Blueray). However, when I stream music through the Sonos app, the sound is thin and gutless. This is the case from all sources too (Apple Music, Sonos Radio, and even Tidal “master” level high fidelity).I am beyond disappointed at this point. I want so badly to love this speaker but it has been a giant letdown. Does anyone have any new ideas since I last posted this problem a year ago? Thanks!
I had similar problem as mentioned in: except that I was using an AMP instead of a Beam. I followed the steps to unplug both TV and AMP from power and disconnect HDMI cable at both ends. Next I reconnected HDMI cable to both again followed by powering up TV first then AMP, then retried the TV Setup function in the Sonos App for the Home Theater. This time it immediately found the ARC between the Samsung TV and the AMP.Problem resolved. I never determined why it lost the ARC connection as it had been working for at least a year...
I just added a Port to my Hifi system, streaming is working perfectly with great sound.i also added my turntable (Garrard 301 with MC Ortofon Red Quintet) with its preamp Atoll p200 that produce a good sound when plugged to my amp but the sound is horrible when going through the Port. Did you experience similar issue ? is there a specific way to set up the pre amp ?
Hello,When I play from my device or from my music library after a minute or so the Sonos app shuts down, it works with radio and Spotify.I have tried rebooting router and reinstalling the app.I am using a Samsung S20. It works in other devices without issue.I have the latest updates for Sonos and my phone.Any help would be appreciated.
I’ve a pretty big sonos system divided into rooms:ARC, 2 play 1 and a sub gen 2 - Living RoomTwo Fives (prev gen) and a Gen 3 sub - Dining RoomMove - KitchenMove - Bedroom2 whatever the Ones with mics are called - Office The ARC is wired to the router. They are all running on Sonos Net A couple of weeks ago, my dining room dropped off and required a cold start (unplugging and waiting) before it was working again. It has just happened again. This is now concerning me as it’s the only products that consistently have issues. The are not the farthest product from the ARC. Seems to be trying to play Spotify that causes it. I have submitted a diagnostic: 820969651 I have Google wifi mesh as my router, with three nodes around the house. I want to know what’s wrong with this product. Why are these the only speakers that just suddenly drop off?
Hi I contacted sonos a while back in lock down and was told I could get a replacement Sonos at a discount to replace my unit which just stopped working.I would prefer to get it repaired but was told they don't offer this service. My question is can anyone recommend an independent repair service for the unit.Stuart.
The Move is directly next to the turntable, and the bluetooth indicator lights on both devices are flashing, but they are not pairing. I’ve tried numerous times with no success.Anyone else having this issue?
Long time Sonos user here and recently have been stuck on an 1101 update error that I can’t seem to get around. Have followed the instructions from Sonos, have rebooted all networking and Sonos devices, have tried updating from different iOS and PC controllers multiple times and over multiple days. Have turned off all IPS and firewalls and still no luck. Really quite frustrated. Any other suggestions? Everything plays fine, but there are some settings I would like to change that are grayed out (audio compression for example) and when I click on them it says an update is necessary, but it’s a vicious loop. Anybody, please?!
Hello members, Suddenly since last night my Sonos volume has suddenly dropped. At max volume it's giving what it used to at 30%. I use a playbar and 2 Sonos one. Please help how to fix it. I also just checked that it works fine with my other music app but doesn't work with TV only anymore. I submitted diagnostic report under 607194927. kind RegardsAnkur
Hi,We use Sonos in our complete house ( 6x Play 1, 1x bookshelf, 1 One SL, 1 Boost & 1 playbar) but scince a few months it is not working smoothly..Our sonos-players randomly disappear from the sonos-app and very often our music is not playing correctly: Songs end up being skipped by sonos very often (just after 10 seconds of playback) or the music stops at all. Or just one (or a few players) stops spontaneously. This issue occurs mostly when playing spotify but it also happens with tunin and/or NAS-playback.. The app says my network is unstable but i don’t know what is causing this instability. Some speakers are wired and some are wireless. Of course the boost is wired. We have some Ubiquity access-points and maybe they are causing issues?Ended up doing a lot of attempts to solve this but nothing seems to work..I have tried setting sonos on other channels occasionally, i have reset all our players more then once, i have powered off our router etc but the problems keep on surfacin
Hi,I’ve seen various others with the same problem, when playing music with spotify I often get an error message half way through a track saying the “connection to spotify was lost” and it skips to the next track. My sonos devices are on a wifi connection, speed and everyone else on the connection looks good - can you tell me how to fix please?
Hello everyone.I have a very modest Sonos setup consisting of 2 Symfonisk table lamp speakers, which I am very satisfied with. If it matters, one is almost 2 years old, whilst the other is only a couple months old. However, as of late, I have been having some trouble, with the speakers simply vanishing from the App, Spotify connect and AirPlay (they show on the list of available devices, but the iPhone or iPad can’t connect to them). This issue became much more pronounced since the last firmware update. My home network setup consists of of a TP Link Deco M4 mesh system, working in access point mode, with my ISP supplied router handling the DHCP (can’t do it another way or I would lose the TV service). Two of the Deco mesh system nodes are plugged in by Ethernet to the ISP router, whilst the last is connected by Wi-Fi to the other 2. Both Sonos are connected wirelessly to the Deco nodes. Steps I’ve tried:Have one of the speakers (bedroom speaker) plugged in by Ethernet to one of the Mesh
So I recently upgraded to a Mac Mini M1 with Big Sur and have been using a Sonos One speaker connected via AirPlay. I’ve been reading about many variations of audio syncing issues on various forums, and thought I would share my specific issue & what I’ve found to be an actual working solution. My issue was that after my Mac went to sleep (either after me putting in sleep mode or walking away from the computer for a time) it would begin to get out of sync, particularly via Safari videos. The only way I could resolve the issue was a restart of the Mac.Simply enough I disabled sleep mode & sync issues magically disappeared for me... although it sucks as I would prefer to leave my Mac to go into sleep mode, but for the sake of keeping in sync this is the only way I can get it working for me.
