I've have a SONOS PORT (connect to a record player) which has autoplay enabled for group Kitchen (containing 2 sonos ONE's)

When spinning a record, the sound can be heard via the “Kitchen” speakers. When switching to Spotify, the sound is gone. The Kitchen ONE's are still visible in the app (no error/offline message is displayed), they just don't produce any sound/music. I can control the volume “slider”but this has no effect at all. No music is broadcasted.

When putting a record back on (and autoplay kicks in) the Kitchen ONEs produce sound. (So I didn't reset/touched the Kitchen ONE's). Any idea what is happening and how this can be resolved?

My entire SONOS setup is using my own wifi network, is not LAN connected and thus not using SonosNET. (This is a deliberate choice...see one of my other threads for the why part :-))

Thanks for the support!

Does your Kitchen room show that it’s playing Spotify in the Sonos app?  Or does it look like Spotify is playing in the Sonos room containing your Port?

Hi @melvimbe

The kitchen is showing that Spotify is playing….eventhough no sound is to be heard.

The port is playing “line in", the living room and kitchen are playing Spotify, but only the living room is actually playing sound.

Hi @svleuken

Thanks for your post!

First, I recommend you reboot your router and Sonos system:

Please remove power from all of them, wait 30 seconds, then switch your router back on. Once your WiFi is back, then turn on your Sonos units.

Wait for them all to have solid white lights, test, and if that hasn’t helped, I recommend you get in touch with our technical support team, who have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system.

Took me a while to react due to holiday absence, but I have executed the above. Until now (roughly 1 day) all seems to be working fine again.

I'll keep you posted on progress
