I just bought a Connect Amp to use with Klipsch AW650 outdoor speakers. I setup the connect amp and it says that it is playing music but there is nothing coming out of he speakers that I wired to the amp. I’ve tried undoing the wires and replugging them in but still nothing. The speakers seem to make noise as I am plugging them in but no music will come out once I have them all set. The speakers are only about 30 ft from the amp and I am using 14 gauge wire. Not sure if I need to use 16 instead or if that might be the issue?

I have a Sonos connect and I need to boost the network I bought a Sonos boost and for some reason it’s not connecting and I cannot increase the Internet Connection. Someone please help???

Thank you in advance. I am beginner at best for going into deep technical aspects of a set up, so please more step-step instructions are better. My current system is a Netgear Docsis 3.1 CM1000, and an ORBI 3000 (1 bottom level, 1 satellite on second floor). All systems have been rebooted and all software/firmware is up to date. I recently purchased 2 play:1s to become familiar prior to my Sonos beam/sub and TV being installed next week. As I've seen others on this forum run into issues with ORBI, as soon as I begin to use ANY other device on my network, everything shuts down. I do not know how to run diagnostics or assign independent IP adresses or anything like that so I;ll need some help! Please help, thanks!

My connect amp is flashing alternately yellow and white and the speakers are not working. My other amp is working fine in a different room with different speakers. I have turned it off and reconnected it to the system but fault remains the same Any help please ?

Hello is it possible to use old subwoofer with amplifier with sonos system ?

I am currently building out a fitness studio. In order to keep our neighbors reasonably happy, I will be using numerous speakers throughout vs. fewer larger speakers so that I can keep the volume of each speaker low and still distribute sound to my clients. I would like to make Sonos the core of my system. However, my land lord has donated 6 JBL Control 65 P/T 8ohm pendant speakers and an amplifier (Crown 1160MA) for my use. Although I would love to keep it simple and use all Sonos ones, both she and her architect are encouraging me to use the pendant speakers to control the direction of sound (and possibly not have speakers mounted on the walls of the adjacent neighbors). If I utilize the 6 pendant speakers I would probably still need 6 or 8 Sonus ones for the exterior walls. Because numerous different trainers would be coming in to use the music system I hope to keep it as simple as possible. So my question is wether Sonos will step up to the plate. Far as I know the only counter-measure in getting access to any Sonos product is the locally used WiFi SSID-name / password.

I have 3 connects in my basement and all have worked fine for the past 3 years. However, there was a short in the electrical outlet that are used for the connects. When I reset the outlet and turned on the 3 connects only 2 worked. The Third connect alternates white and orange light and will not play. Any suggestions?

My customer has 4 connect boxes and 4 amps. I want to hookup the behringer XR12 wireless mixer to run a Samson wireless headset/mic. Have you had any interaction with something like this? The connect box has only 2 outputs. I was thinking of putting the Wi-Fi mixer on the main connect unit then put the headset on another unit as line-in and stream it to the connect with the mixer. What do you think of this setup?

I currently have my Sonos Connect Amp wired to my outdoor Yamaha Speakers. I would like to use those speakers occasionally for outdoor movies without having to disconnect the wires and connecting new wires to them from the projector. Hi I recently bought a connect:amp to replace an old Cambridge audio a5 amp which I used to listen to vinyl. I have 2 technics 1210s which play via a pioneer dj 300 mixer.these were hooked up to my old amp which powered 2 4ohm speakers perfectly fine. However I wanted to be able to utilise these speakers for streaming music and also to stream my vinyl to other areas of the house. Therefore I bought the connect :amp thinking this would be a very straight forward process of replacing my old amp with the connect amp. I have the mixer connected to the connect amp via rca and I cannot get any sound. When I stream music through the connect or link it with my Playbase the 4 ohm speakers work perfectly fine. Any idea why the connect amp won't play the rca input. As far as I'm aware the mixer acts as a pre-amp so can't understand why I'm not getting any sound. The mixer clearly shows that a signal is coming from the channels were the turntables are playing

I am using the connect amp with a pair of Bose 151se's which say they are 4/8 ohm compatible. Does anyone know how this works for them to be 4/8 compatible? I read 3.6 ohms across each one, indicating they are 4 ohm. And the Connect Amp needs 8 ohms. My Amp is overheating and i'm trying to eliminate reasons why. My speakers are at the back of my property line with no way to get wires that far, so the Connect Amp is in my shed. I identified that my shed was way above recommended operating temps for the connect, so I put a little window A/C unit in the shed to solve that problem. But through my troubleshooting, it led me to the question on the speaker ohms.

Hello, I am new here so excuse me if I started in the wrong "area". I have the following feature request: Is it possible to create an option to Disable/Enable the buttons on de speakers (selectable to wich speaker) through the Sonos app? Now there is already a similar like the LED light on the speaker wich you can turn off. The reason for this request is I have a small child that is exploring the world 😳 She has noticed the buttons and now can turn on the Sonos system and play with the volume. Thanks in advance!! Hello I was wondering to complete my 5.0 (playbar + 2x play:1) with a Sonos sub in order to have a full 5.1 system. I have some doubts about its placement. I would like to placement it behind The table in The left angle (see pictures attached). In your opinion will it be a good placement? It will be same side of The playbar. Another option would be on The right side but I am worried for The heat coming from the radiator (see Last picture). Thanks

Hi, is it possible to hook both HMDI and optical inputs to the beam? And use them separately? E.g., hook the TV + a CD player and watch the TV while listening to a CD elsewhere?

I just realized that I may not be able to connect my receiver to a Sonos Connect. If my receiver does not have analog L/R outputs, am I out of luck for using a Connect to output my receiver's sources into the Sonos system? Do I need a toslink/coax to RCA adapter? Is there a great product that wont degrade (would ideally enhance) the quality going from my receiver to the Connect? I’m having trouble getting solid volume from my turntable with my new Connect. I’ve searched extensively in the forums and basic info from Sonos articles but couldn’t find advice to resolve this issue. Here are the basics: Turntable: Audio Technica LP 120 USB (has Pre-amp and is turned on) Speakers: Sonos 3’s Receiver: Onkyo TX-NR616 Setup Scenario 1: Originally had the turntable connected to audio in on Receiver/amp and a zone 2 line out back to the Connect Audio In. Noticed that the volume didn’t seem that high. I read about variable and fixed room settings for the connect and tried using fixed but didn’t seem to impact my volume level (and still had what functioned like variable control in the Sonos App). I also noticed that whether or not I was set to fixed or variable, adjusting the volume on the Receiver had no impact on Sonos 3 volume levels. Hi Guys, hoping somebody may be able to help me out here please. On Sunday my system prompted me to update, which I did but then the update failed to complete, which is a new one on me. The 'Connect' in my system has now disappeared from the controller and has a solid red light on the front, I have tried various reboots and even tried a reset but the unit appears unresponsive to even this. I have 2 x play 3, 1 x play 5 (mk1) along with the connect controlled by iphones. I've had various intermittent problems over the years with all of it, mostly local network issues but this is the first time a unit appears to have failed completely. Any thoughts would be gratefully received. Bill
