sonos equipment upgrade

Hi. I have several connect amps 2017.  Is there an advantage to upgrading my connect amps to a newer version?

Did you find what you were looking for?

Unless you need a feature only supported by AMP, such as integration with a TV, there is no burning need to replace.

AMP will tolerate high end speakers that have an impedance dip below 4-Ohms.

Some people, including me, feel that AMP sounds better, but this may not be the case for everyone. If you have a problem speaker, as mentioned above, the improvement will be dramatic because CONNECT:AMP will shut down at awkward times while AMP shines.

Thank you.  I’m trying to solve for speakers cutting in and out.  Both wired speakers and Sonos speakers.  I was hoping the upgraded AMP’s would help eliminate that problem.

This could be a network issue. Describe your network for us. What is wired? What is wireless? Give model numbers. Are you Grouping Rooms? After a dropout how do you recover?

Don’t Factory Reset anything without further consult.

Newer Amps also have more power, but nothing that would change that issue. I think @buzz can assist without your spending any money.
