I don't have a TV. I have a laptop, a Sonos Beam Gen 2, and an audio splitter(https://bungpung.com/products/4k-hdmi-earc-audio-adapter?srsltid=AfmBOorVBgo9DDIEh40_UG2sRzUs_0Xh5KGJAMACfUMiSl-KqfZMJHqB). I use the HDMI OUT of my laptop to the HDMI IN of the audio splitter, and the HDMI EARC of the audio splitter to the HDMI EARC of the soundbar. And I use the Dolby Atmos for Home Theater mode to pass through the audio to the soundbar when there is Dolby Atmos content.
The Sonos app displays Dolby Atmos from the HDMI source, and the sound plays well. But one problem is that the volume is too low. When I watch Apple Music Dolby Atmos on the Sonos app, the volume is usually really satisfying at around 15. But when I watch Dolby Atmos on my PC, I have to turn it up to 40-50. I asked Sonos support about this, and they said that they can't help me because they don't officially support connections to PCs, but not to TVs.
I set all the volumes on my PC to 100, but the problem is that the volume control doesn't work because the Dolby Atmos signal is pass-through. There is no way to increase the volume on the PC, as the volume can only be controlled by the soundbar.
