How do I connect a Sonos turntable to our current system which consists of Amps and in wall speakers.

The Amps are located in the basement so connecting the turntable to them is not an option.

Thanks for your help

Hi @sunnysokol

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

If you can’t connect a turntable to an Amp directly, then the next cheapest option would be to purchase an Era 100 speaker and a Sonos Adaptor to provide Line-In. Connect your turntable to it, and it can share the feed to any other Sonos devices.

If the turntable does not have a built-in pre-amp, then you will need to fit one between the turntable and the speaker.

I hope this helps.

Hi @sunnysokol, you can use a Sonos Port to connect your turntable to the rest of your Sonos gear.

Note that all Sonos analog line ins are looking for a line level input, so if your turntable doesn’t have one built in, you’ll need to add one between the turntable’s output and the Sonos’ input.

Hello,

I plan to install two ERA 300 on my wall (hidden cables in the wall for power) and I would like to connect a turntable. I cannot connect via RCA the ERA 300 to the turntable.

Does the Amp or Port can connect to the turntable and send the audio to the ERA 300 ? Via wifi ? Or is it mandatory to connect via cables the ERA 300 to the preamp turntable or Amp or Port ?

Many thanks,

Vincent

Yes, use a Port, or consider the Victrola wifi-streaming turntable.
