Anyone know what the problem is with availability of the Sonos Beam in black?
Consistently shown as out of stock and only available in white. Same problem with main stores.
Is it just a supply problem for the UK or is it being discontinued? Hopefully not!
I would guess it’s the international chip constriction, limiting the pipeline.

Amazon, John Lewis, Curry’s? - they (did) have them in stock in the U.K. - but no doubt all will switch to gen2 version soon, which with DTS/Atmos/Faster CPU is worth the extra £50 (not £100) anyway, I think.

A lot of Sonos speakers are out of stock. A White Five is scheduled for Dec 3 in the US right now. I’m sure Sonos didn’t want to over order Beams, but I wouldn’t say they deliberately keep Beams out of stock with Gen 2 coming in.
That said, I guess those who have the Beam on order will have the option to cancel and upgrade if they want.
