Volume controls & functionality gone in new app update

I purchaced an ARC Ultra and 2 x ERA 300’s on Boxing day, set up was easy all worked great until the Sonos App needed to update.

Since doing this it seems I’ve lost the volume slider on one out of the three each time I open it.

I’ve also lost functionality through the app, where more often than not I have go to the speaker to turn on , off or control volume.

Seems as though the app is relatively useless now, because these are all the functions I want to remotely control.

Reading through the community comments this seems to have been going on for over 7 months with SONOS help saying they will release bug fixes shortly.

When is shortly please ?

Anyone resolved this issue ? I have tried all the suggestions, resets, reboot, uninstalls etc

First run another upodate cycle.

Then verify all your Sonos are on the latest versions of the software, under Settings - About.

If they are power them all down, reboot router and Controller and then power the Sonos back up.

Everything is up to date. Double and triple checked

Power down and reboot hasn't worked the first two times. 3rd time lucky maybe.

I'll check the links tonight as well, thanks.

I'm about over it though given the money I've spent on the system and was wanting to expand it further. Very frustrating to see this issue is still there after so long.

Hi Stanley,

Checked the links and all is up to date on my system.

Shutdown all, Router, ARC and 2 x ERA300’s.

Left them for 15 mins and re-booted router followed by each speaker one at a time, confirming wifi connection before firing up the next one.

Seems to have worked this time around, not sure what was differnet.

Thanks, so far so good :)
