Alexa voice control keeps disconnecting

Alexa voice control disconnects from Sonos 1 and Beam on an almost daily basis. I have tried reconnecting from the app, resetting each speaker, changing names on Alexa app, but it still keeps happening. I have read there is a bug. Is there an update to stop this happening? Could it be that I have 4g internet connection which might not have constant IP address?

I too have the same issue, every like 2 days I have to go into the app to play Pandora, the other days I can say “Alexa play Pandora everywhere” and it plays no issue. Is Sonos disconnection from Pandora or is Alexa disconnecting from Sonos?

Alexa has been working okay here over the holidays and into the New Year. I’ve not seen any issues and the Sonos Services Status Page is showing that all is well with the Alexa service…

If the matter persists, it maybe best to reproduce the issue(s) seen and immediately submit a Sonos system diagnostic report from within the Sonos App, note it’s reference and contact/chat with Sonos Support Staff via this LINK and see what the Staff can perhaps suggest to help you to resolve the matter.

Ok but did you answer my question? Is Sonos disconnection from Pandora ?  OR is Alexa disconnecting from Sonos?  

What is the possible cause? I do not believe it the Pandora site itself or the Sonos system itself, but is there some time out after 2 or 3 days for one of the apps to talk to the other apps?

Dunno, as all has been working fine in my own use-case, but maybe your diagnostic report, immediately after reproducing the issue, will reveal the cause when you maybe follow the link in my previous post and perhaps raise the issue with the Sonos Support Staff.
