A useful display option on setting speaker volume at different speakers. Within the circle indicating volume setting, a number indicating relative volume setting would be helpful. Then one would know what number the wife would like.
I applied a small clear plastic glue button to the audio + switch on top of the speaker. Now, even in the dark I can utilize one of the three options (lower, up or off).
Can I link an odd number of SL’s together? How many can I link together? Also if I have three rooms, can I send different music to each room from one device or do I need three devices to do that?
Due to poor storage on the last RV trip, the grill of one of my Play:1s got dented. Pretty sure I can pop it out from the inside. Any tips or tricks to opening it up so I can fix it?
I love the Sonos Move speaker. However, I'd like to add it to an Alexa multi-room music group, but after waiting for several years for Sonos to add this functionality, I'm not holding my breath that it will ever happen. So instead, my solution was to connect it to an Echo dot or Echo Input via bluetooth in order to be able to connect it to my Alexa MRM group. However, the Move seems to be continually going into a power saving mode, even while on the charger base when it is in bluetooth mode. This causes it to disconnect from the echo dot. Is there any way to disable this feature of going into Auto-standby state while in bluetooth AND on the charging base? I have a Bose soundtouch speaker that has a toggle to disable this. Does the move?
Where a Sonos speakers manufactured?
Play 5 keeps cutting out when using both Spotify and online radio stations/sites. We have moved the speaker further away from the router but problem still persists. I have don’t everything I can to reduced Wifi interference/conflict. All other speakers don’t have the problem and continue playing the music. diagnostic number is 822457304
Having issues since downloading new app, have a play 5 1st gen and play 1. Switched back to S1 app reset it all using Ethernet but still won’t recognise both speakers it’s so annoying was all fine before.
I just recently purchased two Fives to replace my Ones that I have been using for just music. The new Fives don’t sound as good as I expected and they are in the same place that I had my Ones. The Fives don’t have the depth and clarity like the Ones do. I have done the TruePlay set up and it only made a very minor difference. Any suggestions?
Hello Can i use Move as a win10 wifi speakers? How can i do this
is there a headset that will work with Sonos beam? Listened to too much Zep & Queen at the required volume in my time! got a great beam system and can just turn it up when i’m alone. but when watching with the wife i need to turn volume up a little too much for her liking. would like something that allows me to listen independent of the other speakers.
I’d like to use my SONOS speakers to listen to movies I’m streaming from Netflix, Amazon Prime, Etc. Is this possible?
Ordered Sonos Move in black on November 28. Current status is Backorder. I don’t recall it being on backorder when I ordered it.Any idea when the Sonos Move are going to start moving out? Pun intended.
I’ve connected my Move to my IMac but sound still comes from internal speakers. It’s definitely connected because when I click the Bluetooth icon it says disconnect from Move.
Hi guyswe have just purchased an Ark and a Move. Both are connected to our wifi. The Ark is connected to the TV. I am trying to get the Move to pair with the Ark for Surround sound but neither will recognise the other. Keeps saying “Needs another compatible device”. Not sure why??Any help would be appreciated.
Two Play:1s are a stereo pair and fade in and out of a sound that lacks body and can be described as thin and metallic. I'm no sound engineer but it's as if the bass just completely fades, or drops out, before popping back. Has anyone else experienced this?
Hi,I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue; my IOS App and desktop client is much slower to ‘wake’ since purchasing a Move.IOS: 14.2Sonos OS: S2, 12.2Move: Version: 12.2.2 (build 61183220) | Hardware Version: 1.25.1.8-2.2So, before anyone says “it’s the wireless”, no it isn’t. My system has been very quick before bringing the Move into the house. I have staggered 2.4Ghz channels (1,6,11) through the house as well as most wireless (apart from Sonos, why!!??!!) on 5Ghz. I’ve always been of the mind that most people’s App issues have been due to phone roaming issues rather than interference/WiFi Signal, but that is just my own opinion. But since having the Move a week ago, the app and desktop clients take seconds to wake and I assume it is searching for the Move. It’s always the Move that is the last to populate in the App.Is it because the Move goes to sleep while on battery and has to go through Wake On Lan?
Are the magnets in the Sonos SUB strong enough to negatively effect a PS5 or other gaming console? Is there a recommended safe distance to keep these kind of devices from the SUB?
My TV and Sonos Arc are wall mounted over a natural gas fireplace, exactly where the previous owner of the condo (I just moved in) had his TV and Sonos sound bar. The Arc is 14 inches above the fireplace. There is no mantle protecting it from the fireplace heat. Does anyone know what is the heat tolerance of the Arc? The previous owner tells me that he never had any issues with his Sonos Arc and had used his fireplace a lot. Before I start using the fireplace, I’d like to know the heat tolerance of the Sonos Arc.ThanksStephen
I wonder if there is any way to get a play 5 that is put in recovery mode to play again.
With various updates, the reliability of my Sonos system is getting worse and worse. It honestly works about one time in three. Perpetual error messages, unable, can’t, won’t, error occurred, no music playing, at really inopportune times. such a frustrating music listening experience. When it works it’s great, okay, good sound and it’s worthwhile. But just a constant reliability headache. I’ll go back to a simple radio or MP3 player in each room.
I have a pair of gen 2 Sonos Play 5 configured for stereo and hardwired into my television. Since the recent update, the sound randomly stops. The moment I open the app on my phone, the sound returns. I do nothing with the app. This happens several times an hour.
Is it possible to pair two sonos move devices in bluetooth mode to listen to stereo sound.
I must admit that I am extremely impressed with my stereo pair of Play 5’s,with the Sub…..The system is so good that I pretty much can’t believe you can get this much sound quality at these prices….I was an audiophile for years and spent a bundle on high end equipment….This set up has me impressed, but I wonder if the dream will end sooner than I’d like, since these cost “so much less” than many standard audio products of the past…..Hmm?How have your older Sonos products held up?Thanks in advance.-:)
I have 5 sons one speakers, one doesn't want to play thru airplay from an ATV 2nd gen. Its shows itself on the airplay speaker list and can be selected but only goes for a second or two before pausing video and audio. The speaker works fine with all other airplay devices and later generation ATV 3 & 4 gen. Maybe the sonos one is not compatible with this older version of TVos???
