Our Sonos system is hardwired throughout our house. Is there a way to add a bluetooth speaker so I can enjoy in my garage as well?

Hi, I have two play 3 coupled in a stereo pair. I am planning to buy two stand to position them at the correct high but I would like to know which orientation is best: vertical or horizontal? I just read that play 3 in vertical can only produce mono sound. Can you clarify this? Thanks

I have Sonos system in my house that is made up of 4 Connect:Amp units that send audio to wired speakers mounted in the ceilings of most rooms and to outdoor speakers on my deck. Works great! I do not have any speakers installed in my garage but I do have a JBL Bluetooth Charge3 portable speaker that I rarely use, and would like to link it (via Blueooth) to my Sonos network. If there is a way to do this, can you either point me to where I can find how to do it or give me a quick lesson on how I can get this done? Currently, to achieve what I want, I can bypass the Sonos network and link the speaker to my Android phone or iPad using Bluetooth and that works well. I would prefer, though, to be able to have the Bluetooth speaker listed along with the rooms currently listed as destinations on my Sonos network. Any help you can provide would be great appreciated. Hi, I have a couple of Sonos Play 1's and a Naim Muso that I've had for a while longer than the Sonos kit. Normally I listen to the Muso via the Spotify app. Occasionally it would be useful to bring the Play 1's into a group with the Muso. Could I achieve that using the Connect (the Muso has an optical input) and has anyone any experience of this? I'm looking to avoid the issue of out of sync audio across the device & maintain the audio performance of the Muso whilst still being able to use the Muso as a dedicated speaker via the Spotify app when I want to. I appreciate one option is to swap out the Muso for a Play 5, but I'm not considering that option for now :) Hope that all makes sense and any suggestions / advice / experience welcome!

Hi, I've got a zp80 hooked up to a Yamaha RX-V671 through optical out / in. This plays fine in itself but when grouped with other zones (zp100s), I get some latency issues with a very slight delay between this one and the others. Is this expected behaviour and is there anything I can do to easily resolve this? Cheers Bern

I have a Bose Soundlink Air: https://www.bose.co.uk/en_gb/support/products/portable_speakers_support/soundlink_air.html and would like to connect it to my Sonos system. I already own a Sonos Bridge. Is it possible for me to connect the Bose speaker to the Sonos system? Thanks.

I believe that many owners of a Play 1 would like to buy a Sonos One, and pair the two. Am I the only one? :8

Hello just unpacked my new Sonos One to find out no mounting bracket holes. I was going to put it in the same position as my play 1 in kitchen does anyone know if a bracket will be available otherwise it’s getting sent back especially as I have just read that I can’t even pair it with my play 1 in another room for my surround sound. Not happy

Will Sonos launch an update for Play5 bought in October 2017 to enable Airplay2? At beginning of October there was announcement that Sonos would adopt the Airplay2 platform. However, i'm unsure if that only applies to newly manufactured speakers from 2018 onwards.

One of my speakers is completely dead. I was, before it died, one of a stereo pair - but just stopped working. I have swapped the lead with another speaker and it is not the lead (the lead supplies power to its original speaker). So its just dead. No light. Not recognised. Why has my speaker died? I a not happy.:@ Oh and its Play 1

Is there a latency when using 'Line in' in Play:5, Connect or Connect:Amp? Is it identical for all devices?

when trying to play music from Napster on my Sonos system I get a message saying Login information not valid ? I recently changed the password on my account and also changed the bank account we pay from but it did still work.

I did setup the Sonos One speakers initially as individuals speakers so that I could play with the Alexa features. Today I went to turn the Ones into surround speakers for my Playbase. It keeps asking me to press and release the button on the back of the left speaker, at which point it fails. “! Surround Setup error”. Any advice?

I currently have my garden speakers ran off a Connect:Amp and they work fine, and I also had the conservatory speakers running off the same amp, with a switching unit in between. However, I have sold my speakers, and for aesthetics would like to get rid of the amp and get a play 5. However, will the headphone out be able to power the speakers in the garden sufficiently or not?

I see Best Buy has the Play 1 on sale for $185. Is it being phased out or just reduced in price due to the One being available?

Hi, I have a Play 5 (bought 2012 and so out of warranty), and today the light went out and it can no longer be detected in my network. I tried a reset (power off, hold mute, power on) but nothing happened. I then checked the power supply by connecting the lead to another Sonos speaker, and the power supply works perfectly - and so no issue there. All my other Songs speakers are detected ok. Am worried my speaker unit is knackered...can anyone help? Thanks, Paul

I've just got my first Sonos product, the One, yesterday. I noticed last night that the LED stripe was flashing white. All was quiet in the room and Alexa wasn't active, it just kept flashing until I cycled the power. Can anyone tell me what this means?

I have a Denon DP-200USB turntable which has an internal amp and I have 2xPlay:1 speakers and a Connect. How do I configure this to work?

I just bought the sonos one and when I first set it up and used it saying “Alexa play radio “ she played the radio saying “Alexa play pinks new album” she streamed it but now all I get it “something went wrong” I have reset to factory settings and reloaded the apps and set the system up again but now all she will say is “something has gone wrong” oh except if I had how the weather is then she will tell me !!!!!!! What to do to fix?

Why have you not designed the new Sonos One to fit the same wall brackets as the existing Play 1? This means I have to buy (and mount) a new bracket. More expense, plus at the moment nothing is even available!

A lot of posts here ask about a way of playing from computer/phone to Sonos, or using it as PA. One solution, is using "SWYH" from computer, which is working - but has 2 seconds latency. I found an Android application, that can send with 0.2s latency. Download "AirAudio". By default it has the regular 2 seconds latency. Go to "Settings", "SONOS", "Audio format" -> WAV. Now you can change the "Audio delay". With trial and error, I reduced it to 0.2s and it's working great. In other environments it might be slightly other value. Now, the questions is - how do they do it? And can we repeat that success in a computer program?
