Now that the Playbase/bar is discontinued and the Arc/Beam is taking over when can we expect our Base/Bar to be obsolete?

So far, none of the speakers Sonos has produced since their inception have been made obsolete, so there is no history by which to judge. The only devices that have been retired as non functional are a remote control device, and an iPod docking device. All other devices are supported via either S1 or S2 versions of the Sonos software.
