Sonos play 1 not connecting to new network after new Fibre router

Hello everyone,

My apologies for resurfacing this old topic. I have been without my Sonos play 1 for over 3 months since moving over to community fibre and having their Linksys MX5600 Series. I have tried everything including splitting my wifi channels for 2.4ghz and 5ghz, i kept one open (no wifi pass) for an hour to see if it was that and it still wouldnt accept the network. Currently it works via wired method but I cant update the network settings for it to connect. But this is borrowing the ethernet cable for the TV, Which is needed.

If anyone has any advice as im tempted to sell on and move onto another system that properly works.

Once you have the speaker working whilst it is wired, have you tried removing the old WiFi network credentials (in the Sonos App network settings) and then adding the new WiFi network via ‘Update Networks’? See this link too…
