Question

sonos line in amp gen2 and project turn table

Why is the line in when using a turn table so so flakey. This is so frustrating. Why can’t this be fixed

can someone from Sonos please help. I watch tv then turn it off. Then I play vinyl. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. It shouldn’t be this hit and miss. I’m using a Sonos amp gen 2  with a project turn table

If the Line-In signal is not hot enough to trigger the Autoplay, it can be flaky.  There is an adjustment for the Line-In that will increase input, you may try increasing that value.   Also, check to see if your pre-amp type (if external) matches you stylus type.  A mismatch there can cause a weak signal.

With regards to the adjustment. Should I set it to lower or higher  to make it better ?  Would the gen 2 amp be an issue. The pre amp is also a project pre amp.  Thanks
