I can’t believe that a company in today’s time makes an upgrade and it doesn’t work. it is not the 1st time. no alarm, it can’t find my system. I did everything “logout/login, unplug speakers, plug in, … ) suddenly it’s there. Next time i want to play nothing is connected. the few minutes I was able to play, I had no ahaa experience. i am really getting tired spending way too much time on the system
Waited for the new app so I could Trueplay on my iPad 10 which I purchased after my older iPad was no longer supported by Sonos. It’s visible in the new app but when I run through the steps to play tones it simply does not respond. So it seems to be IPad roulette with Sonos at great expense to customers. Surely this would have been tested ???
Hi I have a beam 2 and was looking to add 2 Sonos ones to it but every time I try to add them it can’t finalise the last step called Sonos they changed router settings but can’t help anyone had this issue ?
I can't find the possibility to ad to cue only replace que... I'm trying to que podcasts
Another bug in the new app affecting local libraries. When trying to play any album from the local library with a : % or / in the album title, the play button just spins and nothing happens. Playing them from the new web controller works, as does the 16.1 app, so definitely an issue with the new app.
With the updated APP I’m not able to set or cancek alarm. How do I do it?
Thanks for the new app update Just wondering where to find the option to play a different song in a different room while browsing/searching. When you click on the ... (3 dots) you no longer have information for the artist / album etc. Also where has the NAS option gone from the services?
It appears that there is no alarm option in the new app. Help center keeps telling me to click alarm in the settings menu but there is no alarm option in the settings menu!!!!!😤
Can't seem to find the fonction on my Android phone. Can someone help ?
With the new app I seem to have lost 10 years of carefully curated playlists. Is this a known thing? Is it possible to downgrade to previous version before this mess of an app was released?
Not a fan of the new app. It's not intuitive. Why would you make me learn how to use the app all over again? So far everything I've tried to do was a bust. I had to push all over the screen to get undesirable results. I want to listen to my SONOS system now, not read or watch a video about what I've already paid good money. Fix this blunder.
Hello! How do I Connect 6 speskers to one amp? The banana plug seems to small to attach 3 cords each… 2.5 cord dimension
On the update that was pushed out today, it doesn’t seem that I can access the eq by clicking on the volume. I hope that I’m missing something and I don’t have to go into the settings to make these changes.
Hello! Where is this in the new Sonos app? Thanks in advance
This morning I went to change my alarm and realized my app had updated and the alarms are gone, along with other features I really liked using. I logged online to find out everything’s been revoked but I should just use my computer! There’s one problem—I don’t own a computer! So now I’m stuck with a super early alarm (had an appointment this morning) for weeks or months until Sonos fixes the issue
Dear Sonos team, as obviously a lot of people are not happy with the lack of Alarms and Sleep Timer functionality, would you please role back the default app-store version back to the latest Sonos S2 app-version or do release that one separately. The actual version seems to be not ready for the job!Thank you & Best Regards, Markus.
Is there any structured way of searching and contributing to the discussion on the new apps? I have seen so much feedback on the new software and my reactions so far have been: - yes, this is replicated on my setup (Android, Windows etc) - I can’t replicate this on my setup (for example, I appear to be able to create, manage and delete alarms: is this (a) a quirk of my setup and genuinely missing from others’ apps or (b) something a few tips on navigating the new interface might help with - have I discovered a new bug (for example, I don’t appear to be able to modify room groups via the Web App. There’s no “Apply” button like on the Android app so changes don’t get actioned. This community is great at helping each other out but while all reactions and observations to the new software have their own thread (in come cases, many) I can’t contribute.Help us help please! Ian
Wow, I am incredibly sad that I just purchased two Sonos Eras for my husband’s birthday next week just when access to URL stations will no longer be accessible through TuneIn. My husband works from home and listens to an internet station all day on our ancient Play and I thought I’d surprise him by saving up for these two new speakers. But the new Tune In app doesn’t support this :(
How is everybody getting on with the new app?I’m really struggling to the point that i can’t use it.Rooms change on their own, specifically it keeps referring to “bedroom” which was the last room i played to before i updated the app.The progress bar won’t work. When i try to pull it back to start a song from the beginning it bounces back to where i pulled from.9/10 times it won’t recognise the input when i try to select a specific song from a list.Using IOS.
Ok I hate everything about the “new” and unimproved UI on my iPhone. Navigation horrendous! Who thought this needed a complete refresh?I use Timer to turn off my Sonos speaker every night. Now it looks like there is NO timer!Has anyone found it??
Is it me or is it not possible to edit alarms from within the new app? I only seem to be able to turn on/off existing alarms?
I’ve been able to navigate to my favourite radio station (Lush on SOMA FM, via their Channel) but unlike the old S2 app the web app does not display what artist and track are playing - see screenshots, taken at the same time. Anyone got a work-around?Track details are there in the S2 app
I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything quite like this. Sonos is the expensive brand. This isn’t cut-rate, and there’s no expectation of putting up with chinese no-name brand software garbage. It’s absolutely incredible that they just pushed an app out that is missing significant features from the previous version. This isn’t a separate app to explore a new design. There’s no way to downgrade to the old one. This was touted as an upgrade, and the previous version even included code to give you an interstitial popup to remind you to update! There’s no warning of missing functionality! Any competent executive will be making decisions based on data. That data should have shown how many people were using the features that are no longer included, such as a sleep timer. This executive decided that the users of that feature were not important enough to bother supporting any more. This is an extraordinary misstep, as the people using the power-user features of the product (as if a sleep timer i
I downloaded the new app which was my first mistake. But when I try the to make changes in the system like group speakers, the grouping happens but the IOS app will not recognize it. it defaults to selecting the first speaker in the list and will not reflect any changes. Anyone else running into this bug?
How complicated can you make an App. 🤔Don’t know about anyone else but I can’t modify or add a new alarm. I can get to alarms but unable to edit - does anyone test these before releasing? 😡Previous alarms are still there but cannot change anything. Am I just being daft or is anyone else finding the same? Can anyone help? Thanks
