Hi, I can't seem to get 5.1 source with my arc sl. I have a Vizio m60 c3 TV. I am connected using HDMI arc (port 1). Checked my audio settings on my TV to use bitstream. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Using Netflix on Nvidia shield (2017). My arc sl just shows audio is PCM 2.0. Please help and thanks.
Hi, I just updated to the new app today and now all my Sonos playlists are missing?
Regarding the ISO’s app update, Sonos has forgotten to include access to Sonos Playlists. Currently I have to use the Mac desktop application in order to play Sonos playlists, which I use often. No point of having the Sonos iphone app at all if I can’t access these playlists I have created. Please explain how to find Sonos Playlists if possible on the iOS app or please update to include this content on the app.regards, James
I have tried to ‘update ‘ my Roam. My phone, my tablet wont do the update and wont let me use the device. My pc won't do the update but it will at least allow me to use the Roam.Any help?
Est-il possible de stocker sa propre musique, non sur un ordinateur mais sur son téléphone mobile ?
I’ve just noticed a new product tour when updating the app. it’s not correct thoughI can’t search my local library so this is a lie This is not true it also says that when clicking the 3 dots you get quick access to favourites, this does not work This does not work After clicking 3 dots for favourites
Have not been able to use my Beam at all after last update. After a factory reset I was able to connect but the system demanded an update and it told me to log in using a system account. I only have one account created. Getting very frustrated after having to spend countless hours on this. Did a factory reset again but am not able to connect at all
My Sonos system constantly buffers, lags when I adjust the volume level, cuts outs, resets, etc. It’s unbelievable. No matter how many times I have the audio company come out, they never find the problem but always charge me for the service call. Outside of ripping it out of my house and replacing it, does anyone have recommendations?
Title should be “Solutions?...” -- moderators are welcome to update to a question. The forum didn’t save my post - “Something went wrong.” - so this is the abbreviated version as I’m not typing that all out again. TruePlay tuning on speakers is mismatched. I select the stereo pair in the office (Era300) and the living pair triggers for TruePlay tuning. This is consistent across rooms with the exception of the rooms with Move speakers. Prior to the latest update, this was not an issue having recently moved a speaker and performed the tuning process. I do not use any Home (AppleKit or Google) services, so there isn’t an override happening anywhere. This morning after the update, the app could not find my speaker system - re-installed the app and restart phone. It found the system but all setting were cleared out. The app is not saving setting when closing it (ex. EQ, Audio Height, etc.). The volume controls in the app are not showing for certain speakers but the speaker is playin
I just moved to a new place and i’m looking for a first speaker. Since the budget isn’t gigantic i was thinking for a few years to buy a move 2 put it ob my kitchen island that also connects to my living room. It was that or 2 x Era 100. Now my second question, if i buy the move 2 does it have a line in for a future vinyl player? Or can i later on connect a Era 100 to my vinyl player and let it stream to a Move 2 in another room?
I listen to my music through Sonos speakers and use Google assistant on hubs to voice control these.Up until this week BBC radio was available on TuneIn the radio app which Sonos used to radio stations. This now doesn't work which is fine as it advised I linked BBC sounds . I can listen to the BBC through the Sonos app all good. Problem is if I ask assistant to play BBC radio 1 on sonos the reply is " playing BBC radio 1 from tune in " this results in silence . I've deleted TuneIn from Sonos and it's still doing it. Even if I use the command "play BBC radio 1 from BBC" it either doesn't understand or just gives the same playing from TuneIn reply. It also does it for all stations like radio X or heart . What command can I use or change stop assistant using TuneIn ?Thanks sarah
My iPad updated automatically and I submitted a topic right away about no timers, no alarms and no queue editing. In short, the new app was very disappointing. But I still hand my iPhone on the previous version. I made sure I had automatic updates turned off so I could use the features that were important ro me and not have the. Ew version installed. Overnight, my app updated and now I’m frustrated with both controllers and have to wait for the missing features to come back. How can this happen?
Before the Android app upgrade I received today, I used to be able to increase/decrease the volume on all my speakers at once with one slider. That feature is now gone, and it appears I need to adjust each speaker separately. I am hoping there is a solution to this nagging issue. Thanks
Hi,With the new sonos app the option of random on my music’s folder disappear. It will be updated or is somewhere else the option of random music files on a folder (local library folder)?
I changed my network and now it only works with a cab attached
I’m unable to connect ClassicFm anymore and its not available to AirPlay. Thought I’d listen to some of my music, however, unless I access my music via the app on my iphone and then AirPlay it just doesn’t work from Sonos itself. How long with these issues with the update go on and the new interface is far from intuitive?
Reauthorization of Apple Music isn’t working on newest Sonos App. Streaming from Apple Music is working fine if I use another device through Sonos S2.
So with the new update, I’ve had to reconnect all my speakers. I didn’t really have any issues connecting 3 of my Play:1 speakers, but my Play:3 speaker won’t connect. I did a factory reset, the light flashes white & orange, but it never flashes green (as it should once connected). Anyone have any suggestions?
Good morning, since the update of the new app 89.00.04 release 20240507.671125b on May 7,the trueplay feature has been crashing on a ipad 2017. Through apple task manager, I have to swipe out the sonos app. Does anyone have a solution? Via the old app on another iphone it does work.Help!
Putting the unmitigated shambles of the release of 80.00.xx and the host of missing features aside for a moment (it is clear that Sonos’ C-suite is doubling-down and nothing we complain about is going to make a difference), can we PLEASE, PLEASE have proper release notes for the upcoming torrent of new releases that will inevitably be released over the coming months?Repeating the same thing over and over helps no-one, and I’m even willing to overlook the blatant lies about getting to my music faster! So, please Sonos, do the decent thing. Own your mistakes and provide clear information for each micro-release, so that we know what’s changed, what is required to see the changes, and what is still outstanding. For example, last night I upgraded my iPhone to version 80.00.08 and still can’t see the alarms…
Pretty funny, I’m trying to dictate this as I’m waiting for the Sonos music to stop playing. (I hit the pause button, but, of course, nothing’s happening). Ironic because I have only one, late model, fully updated router in my house. Oh, well.the current issue is that I have a brand new pair of roams, and I left them unplugged, and this morning one had 74%, and the other was fully depleted. True, the depleted one was plugged in for less time. I own many devices, however, of course, not my cell phone, that do not deplete their batteries, they simply shut down when they’re not used for a period of time. That would be great. I guess maybe when Sonos support and software programming becomes a bit more robust, “things will fall into place.”The previous pair I had ordered and realized they were going to wrong address, and I submitted a correction pursuant to your fancy system within two minutes of the order, but, of course, that was too late, and you just shipped it there and there was nothin
I have a system made up of play1s, play3s, ones (mk1 and 2), and amp. My whole system has vanished from the app as of today. I have tried powering everything off, rebooting the router, then bringing the sonos devices up but no luck. For some reason the play3 (which is my one wired device) is giving itself a 169 address despite having a reserved IP address on my router. In fact, at this troubleshooting stage, I have left all of my other sonos devices powered off. I have changed ISP today but I have not changed router, nor has the router been reset or restored to factory settings. The only thing that has changed is my connection to the outside world - my internal network remains the same as it was yesterday. I've seen a few people mention that this seems to be a bug in the new version go the app which requires and whole system reset which will result in me losing all my playlists, etc. Surely this cannot be the case? Any help much appreciated. Thanks
In the old S2 app I set wake up “alarm” by playing a certain radio channel. In the updated version of the app, I cannot change or remove the settings that I did before the update, so annoying to get a new app with less functionality. Any advice to resolve this?
I´ve just download the new app version and I can´t add songs to queue, does anyone have this problem? or the app doesn´t have that feature anymore?
Hello, The APPS asks me to lauch an update of the software.I click ok, and it asks me to log as “the owner of the system. I connect but it continues to ask me to connect as the owner of system who I am...and it runs in a loupHow can I solve this issue? (Sonos Thanks
