Hi everyone,I’m having an issue with my Sonos system after setting everything up.The speakers were successfully added and were working fine initially, but now they are no longer showing up in the Sonos app under “System” or “Devices”. I can still see some signs that they are connected to the network, but they don’t appear in the app anymore.I have already tried:Restarting the speakers Reinstalling the Sonos app Rebooting the router Checking the WiFi connectionBut nothing has worked so far.Has anyone experienced something similar where devices go “missing” from the app even though they are still connected? Any advice on how to restore them would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Pandor gives the message “Sorry, try again in a few moments” but does not work. I have removed the app from my iphone, readded the app, reauthorized Pandora but same message, My Pandora userid works and I can play the pandora app and or go to pandora.com and play music.what am I missing? Sonos1 system
We have a Sonos Ray connected to a Sony Bravia TV via optical cable, and we use streaming services from the TV’s apps, or watch VirginMedia for digital live TV. With our previous Samsung soundbar, and with the TV’s built in volume we get a consistent volume across Virgin and the streaming apps, and have never had issues. With the Sonos Ray connected and with the TV remote set up to control the Ray’s volume, we now have inconsistent volumes across Virgin and the streaming services - we can watch Netflix and have the TV volume on, say, 10 and then when we switch to Virgin the volume is significantly higher and we have to turn the volume way down.Another symptom of this is that when the volume is too loud we have to turn down all the way to zero, but can still hear the sound from the Ray, and have to keep pressing volume down for a while to get to “real” zero sound from the soundbar, and then come back up again. Is this normal/expected behaviour? It’s driving us crazy!
Hello, this has been an ongoing issue for sometime and I’ve tried numerous things to rectify it but I’m still unable to save any thing to my favorites list. Any Sonos radio stations, XM radio stations, TuneIn Radio stations, playlists from Spotify or any other music service etc. My favorites list appears empty and nothing is on it and every time I try to save something to it it says “something went wrong, try again”. You can see the screen shots attached as well. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app on numerous devices. I’ve tried a step-by-step ownership refresh by transferring the system to different email and resetting things. I have tried a web only account sync flush and that has not worked either.I am beyond frustrated and at this point cannot seem to figure out a solution. Any advice would be appreciated.
The adjustment shortcut is missing sub. I still need to go to the room settings and jump between EQ and SUB level.
Unable to add pandora or any other service to Sonos1
So…A week ago I could listen to my music collection. Now I cannot.I can add a single artist to my collection at a time (Can - OK, Peter Hammill - OK, Captain Beefheart - OK), but only for certain artists it seems (Frank Zappa - Nope, Jethro Tull - Nope). From searches it seems this is some sort of metadata issue and nothing to do with the power status or location of the library: what an incredibly unhelpful error message - so much time wasted checking other devices and all possible user/password combinations when my settings were fine in the first place. You cannot tell me I have just tripped over some magical number, because my entire library (approx 30k tracks) was available a week or so ago. Now the machine struggles to load a single artist. This equipment is no longer fit for the purpose it was sold for. I am truly disgusted by the Sonos system. Supposedly so good, but within my first month of use I was no longer able to connect to it with older devices due to an “upgrade”, so I only
Against my instincts due to the long works with the Sonos app and the history etc I purchased the Ace today in the airport. First use after updating to firmware 3.9.9 and the left ear is making a pulsing fluttering effect from the ANC. ANC switched off. No problem. It's exactly like driving on the highway with the window cracked open and you get that resonance. In short the headphones are useless in this state. The ANC can't be used so they are dud. Is there a fix?Impossible to return to the shop as it's in the airport and I've flown to my destination. What didn't I listen to my gut? Thanks.
just upgraded to the new iphone 17 pro max And the S1 app cannot find/ connect to my ZP 80 sonos system. However my old ipad still works fine with it. i’ve reset each ZP 80’s (I have 3) and still nothing. Anybody have any ideas?
Sonos app says Roam2 battery is depleted. I can not power up the Roam2
I recently set up Sonos save to my 5 cd changer . Worked wonderfully and was loving it . But now my cd system shows it’s playing the track on the cd but the music won’t play . The speaker is on and I have rebooted each. Still nothing !! Help ???
I have a Sonos play:one and a Vodafone ultra 7 hub. It was recently firware upgraded/reset and now none of my Sonos devices are able to connect to it yes I’ve tried with a ethernetyes I’ve tried reading the Sonos documentation on newrouter set up. none of this works. I’m losing my mind and have two very expensive and currently useless Sonos speakers.
Play 1 has no surround sound. App saying it’s not registered. When done as instructed, same message appearing
I have a recurring error trying to pair my Sonos bean (gen 2). It also is not producing sound out connected to the tv. The beam is connected to WiFi by Ethernet and to the TV by hdmi arc
Hey guys, I’ve owned a Sonos Move 2 for about a year now. In my house there’s a system setup for an arc home theatre, and I had my Move 2 on its own separate system (these systems are 2 separate Sonos accounts as well). I realized last month that my Move 2 no longer showed up in the app, but it still worked over Bluetooth.I Finally set myself to fixing the setup, and did a factory reset on the move to reconnect it. However when I choose to setup a new system with it, it gets as far as having completed the WiFi connection and then fails to make a new system, causing my speaker to be lost.Specifically, it gets to the point where the app informs me that my Move has been added to the system, and that it will likely need to be reset in order to be seen. At this point the app fails to actually make a new system, I find myself connected to the existing home theater system. when my Move 2 finishes resetting it’s just non-existent in the app, with no new system created. I’ve tried re-installing
I have an LG OLED TV, Google Streaming 4k, HDHomerun 4k, Sonos Beam 2 with 2 play 1 speakers in surround sound. I had the strangest experience. I was watch a movie on Disney when a commerical came on (I’m cheap) so I used my LG remote (instead of the Google Streamng remote) to mute the commercial. (I like the feel of the LG remote and thought I didn’t matter which remote I used.)The TV went blank for a second and when it came back I had no sound. When I tried to go to TV speakers sound would play for a second the go silent.I tried a number of approaches to bring back sound - thinking it was an LG issue or an HDHome run issue. Finally just unplugged Sonos beam and plugged it back in. That fixed it. Strange. I have retired the LG remote.
We recently moved not a new home and had several Sonos products up and running on our new Wifi network.Today we added an Eero, and all the systems couldn't be found. I was able to add the Arc + sub + surrounds, but not if I try factory reseting any other speaker, it says the speaker wasn't added to the system and recommends unplugging and plugging back in. This does nothing. So we can't add anything currently. Is my best option to create a new system and factory reset everything? Thanks.
I purchased an Arc Ultra , 2 Era 300’s and a Gen 4 sub and I’m regretting it. I’m so tried of rebooting speakers, rerunning and rerunning and rerunning True Play, and calling tech support WAY too many times only for them to say their diagnostics finds nothing wrong with the speakers. Do you know why the diagnostics always finds nothing wrong with the speakers? BECAUSE IT”S NOT THE SPEAKERS, IT”S THE APP.!!! Instead of running worthless diagnostics on my speakers, why don’t you run some diagnostics ON YOUR APP? if you do, you’ll find the problem. AND HOPEFULLY FIX IT!!! Don’t get me wrong, the speakers can sound great, but then comes the app glitches and they suck. If the app doesn’t get fixed, you might as well save your considerable amount of money and just use the speaker on your TV. At least you’ll know why the audio is so bad.
Hi, I have a first generation Arc a gen 3 sub and two Era 300s in my living room. The Era 300s are set up as surrounds but I regularly unbond them for music and don't think they sound great as surrounds. They seem just too quiet and I find I have to push all the levels up to max to get any real impact. For music they are way better just as a stereo pair.I don't think there is anything wrong with the speakers I just don't find the implementation to be great. It bothers me no end that Sonos won't let me enable the centre channel. in my room it would be better the centre than the far side channels.I also wish there was a music mode for the Eras so that they can be set to just those for music, unpairing is ok but it plays havoc with my room setup in the app and Alexa.I do love Sonos and have speakers in every room but am just disappointed with this setup. I kind of just lived with it until now but it appears other brands are making some interesting stuff. The LG Soundsuite is looking interes
Hello community,I bought a pair of Era 300 additionally to my Arc Ultra and Sub Gen 4, and I'm looking for how to position them the best in my living room using a pair of Sanus tilt&swivel wall mounts. The room has an L shaped sofa against the wall.I'm having trouble to decide on the height - should it be hang higher to increase the distance from our heads? At ear level? A few inches higher? Near the ceiling rotated upwards down? Also, I'm having trouble with choosing the best location to mount the speakers. The left speaker can be mounted in any height in the backwall, but the problem is with the right speaker due to a window near the right wall. I thought of these options:1. Place on the backwall between the window and the right wall, in any height. Con: there will be just 2 inches between the speaker and the right wall (>8 recommend?) 2. Place on the backwall under the window at >8inch from the wall. Con: it will fit but be just 2 inches from our heads.3. Place on the righ
I am baffled that Sonos claims they include Bluetooth in the ERA 100, I have yet to get it to work with either a FiiO BAT 30 or a Sennheiser BT100. Sonos tech support on this issue is all over the place with no real answer. Just feel like selling everything and going with Denon or someone else
Maybe I'm missing something, so I'm asking before I drive myself crazy.I'm using my Sonos Move over Wi-Fi through the Sonos app. At some point it ends up flashing blue, disappears from the Sonos app, and I have to get it back onto Wi-Fi before I can use it the way I normally do.Is this really the intended behavior? If it is, I'd honestly like to understand the thinking behind it. I almost never use Bluetooth, so I find myself wondering why there isn't a simple option to disable Bluetooth mode for people who don't need it.What advantage does this design provide? Maybe there's a use case I'm not seeing. If this is intentional, I'd genuinely appreciate hearing why Sonos chose this approach. If I've overlooked a setting or there's an easier way to prevent this from happening accidentally, I'd be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction. Thanks.
Currently it is not possible to see all my added internet radio station in the Sonos web app in favorites of Tunein. It looks like it depends on the browser window width so I see only 6 out of my 32 added stations. Will be nice to have possibility to see and start playing any of my internet radio station added to Tunein favorites.
Is the latest SONOS controller compatible with Apple Silicon? Every time OSX gets updated the SONOS app turns to crap. I’ve reinstalled it several times and rebooted my router. The OSX app still won’t see my products.
Not sure if this has been mentioned before...but how about a bedside style clock with internal speaker so can be used as alarm clock with option as a clock with speaker that can be used with sonos or bluetooth from mobile phone or whatever.I’m using a Roberts retro style Revival Rest clock/radio and would love it to be wifi and available to sonos app.Just an idea and with a nice retro style I’d buy one.
