Music Library chops 'The' off all artist names

I’ve just noticed that, after updating my Music Library, nearly all of the artists who start with a ‘The’ in their artist meta data are imported in to the Sonos Music Library with the ‘The’ chopped off. Guessing this isn’t intentional, why would it be? For example ‘The Cure’ still has it’s artist meta data as ‘The Cure’ but in the Music Library it’s under ‘Cure’. So the albums don’t show up if you search for ‘The Cure’

Is there a way of raising bugs?

It’s not a bug.  It does that so the ‘T’ section doesn’t have every band/artist that begins with “The” in it.   I don’t know about you, but when I’m searching for The Cure, I look under ‘C’.  When I want to play The Beatles, I look under ‘B’.

Personal preference I guess but when I type in ‘The Cure’ in to the search and I know I have 100s of songs that are correctly tagged as ‘The Cure’ I expect them to show up.

I agree. That search should work with the ‘The’ or not.  But I still don’t want the majority of my bands all under the ‘T’ section (‘The The’ being the exception 😉)..

Actually, it left The The in the correct section but yes, they don’t show up in search unless you actually type in ‘Cure’ instead of ‘The Cure’, which I think is wrong.
