iMac - Unable to get my music library back on Sonos

I have an iMac running Sonoma 14.6.1

I have tried all the options listed on all the pages but my music library still will not show anything.

When i finally get it to attach it show “No selections are available”. When i run the “Update music Library” function it only runs for 10 or 20 seconds, I have hundreds of folders in the Music folder.

This has been going on for weeks now and I’m a little bit peeved that I cannot use my speakers for my music.

Anybody got any ideas about getting these useless bricks to work again????

So replying to my own question….

previously, on my PC, if you ran the Update Music Library function it would start to index it and then would run and if there were too many files it would tell you that there were.

It seems for the iMac, or maybe in generally, the short run index means that you have too many files.

On an off chance I basically removed half the Music folder and started the index and it is now indexing my music folder. Why of why don’t Sonos put a nice little error message up saying you got to many files in the folder instead of just stopping the index……

I’ve been trying to resolve this for 2 weeks now.
