I’ve been trying to install the Libby service for the last 24 hours with a consistent issue: I kept getting the error message, “unable to browse music.” I keep removing and reading, giving it awhile, then checking. Same result. Any ideas? I’ve tried to unplug speakers and plug back in.
Hi,I recently lost all my products off the Sonos app. I have followed the instructions to reset the router, Wi-Fi and turn off all the products but it doesn’t seem to help.I also noticed that our iPhone that is still on iOS15 can still see them via the app.. but my iPad and iPhone on iOS 16 doesn’t.Has anyone experienced anything similar or have any suggestions? Thanks
Hi I know there was a Sonos update pushed around 11-11-20. Also upgraded to iOS14. Now I don’t see my Sonos speakers at all when using Apple Music app and trying to Airplay2 to the various speaker sets. The Apple TV’s I have do show up in the Airplay 2 list. Just my 4 different Sonos rooms don’t show. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks. I was under the impression this was the preferred way to do things for music that was on your phone. Note to Mods- I started a thread in questions but didn’t have Airplay in the title so this is probably the better thread. I didn’t see how to edit the other one.
As the title says, I have a problem playing anything from Spotify. So far I have tried following:Connecting my Sonos Play 1 with wifi Connecting it with wire Restarting Sonos Restarting the router Deleting spotify account in Sonos appa and adding it again Deezer working perfectly Radio stations work perfectly Spotify on my phone works perfectly Spotify on my PC works perfectly If I try to play music from spotify app, it stucks at connecting to my living room speker and nothing happens Clearing the Queue didn’t helped Updated both Sonos and my application to the last versions Spotify free was tested mybe month ago and it was working, now i paid for premium and it doesn’t work
Issue with Sonos App on iPad trying to access Spotify music. I get "Unable to play the selected item" whatever song I select on my daughter’s iPad. However, it works fine on my own iPad / iPhone. We have a family Spotify account and I am logged into the Sonos app on my daughter’s iPad. I have power cycled the WiFi router and all Sonos equipment several times and I have also disconnected the LAN cable to our Sonos Playbar but the problem persists. Please advise what to do.
I’ve setup SiriusXM with the Sirius APP, and it works fine on the iPhone App. My Sirius login is working fine. When I attempt to Add Service for Sirius to the Sonos App, it gives me an error that my login credentials for Sirius are not valid. But I KNOW that they are valid because I use the exact same ID and PW on the Sirius website and it works fine. I’ve attempted multiple times with same results. I’ve also “Reset” the Sonos app. Same results. Anyone have a solution?
Only yesterday I’ve had issues with playing music using the spotify app and now the sonos app.The songs keep cutting out in spotify and when using the sonos app I select a song to play, it tells me it can’t play that as it hasn’t been encoded correctly and then plays it for 5 seconds. Then jumps to another song on it’s own. I’ve ran a diagnostics and here’s my number: 2145252438.
This has happened to me before and the S2 app is a bit clunky when adding or upgrading devices. I just upgraded my Home theatre setup by upgrading the sound bar to the Arc. i added it and also added the Sub so now my room is called Family Room (+sub). issue is that when i go to add the surrounds (2x One SLs) it wont let me as they are connected to the old Room now called Family Room (?). i need to somehow delete that room and/or remove the One SLs for that room so i can add them to the Bar and Sub. any advice would be greatly appreciated. Would be great if Sonos would work on making the S2 controller more intuitive and straightforward. Patrick
I've read a number of posts on this forum regarding Sonos no longer recognizing Apple Music (formerly iTunes) playlists. I've tried the suggested fixes, but still cannot see my music library or playlists from within the Sonos apps. Has Sonos made any official statement regarding the apparent incompatibility of macOS Catalina with Sonos? Just wondering whether Sonos has officially acknowledged the problem and has committed to fix it, or whether we are "on our own" regarding a fix. Thanks
Hi All, This is getting a bit frustrating. In the past, when using the Sonos app in the search->playlists section I could enter an artists name ie Powderfinger and would get results such as Powerderfinfer Essentials, Powerderfinger: Next Steps etc returned. For a few days this has not been working. Now when I run a search it seems to me that any of the Apple curated playlists are not returned in the search results, however, other playlists which are presumably created by other Apple Music users do show in the results. Does anyone know if this is a Sonos or an Apple issue? I have tried deleting and readding my account to the Sonos app. Anyone else having these issues, or know of a solution. Cheers, Duddsy
Diagnostic 1602233776All of my Spotify artwork accessed from Sonos Playlists are distorted, or pixelated. When I browse and search for the same album that same album artwork looks fine, then that album artwork on my Sonos Playlists fixes itself. It’s almost like the Spotify Album artwork cached itself using much smaller images. Then when I access those albums manually it corrects itself. I have thousands of Spotify songs on Sonos Playlists so searching for every one is not reasonable. I have rebooted all my Sonos speakers, reauthorized my Spotify account and even removed the Spotify account then re-added it, but nothing has worked. Please help. Any ideas?
After updating to macOS 10.15, all the podcasts files are gone from their respective folders for each podcast show. I am currently waiting for a solution from Apple. Apple customer service was unable to locate the files during a screen share session. Because of that, I am unable to listen to Podcasts via Sonos. Is Sonos aware of this? Anyone else has the same issue?
I have a paired set of Sonos Ones. I have my itunes library on MacOs. I have added the drive to Sonos through Manage and gone through the update process which took over an hour. All I see is “No Selections are available” on each of the categories in the music library. I have 30,000 songs in my library, that should be acceptable right? What can I do to get my library showing up? Are there any log files or diagnostics I can look at to see what the problem is?
Sonos App has stopped searchin Spotify. Both Sonos and Spotify are “working” -- i can play spotify content from within Sonos -- but I cannot seach from within Sonos. I have (soft) repooted the speakers, rebooted my phone and removed and then readded the service, None worked.
Playing through an original Connect to my standalone stereo system. While playing a playlist or favorited album, about 10 seconds into a track, playback stops, there is an error that the *next* track can't be played because connection to Spotify was lost, and playback resumes with the one following that. If I tap on the first track in this sequence of three, it resumes playing flawlessly. This never happens with the first song in the queue. Since the third track in the sequence always plays fine, or the first one if I select it, this seems to rule out a legitimate network or wifi error?
Since the S1/S2 app split, I've noticed that throughout the day the Radio 2 feed will suddenly jump back by approximately 30 seconds and then repeat what you have just been listening to. I am using S1 software. I have submitted a diagnostic about 2 minutes after the last incident of this fault, confirmation number is 728377785.
Hello,I got a Sonos Beam recently and it’s very good but I’m trying to play music through Spotify Connect from my phone but it doesn’t even display the speaker.I tried from my laptop and another phone (Android and iPhone) and no luck, no Sonos Beam displayed, despite being on the same wifi network (I forced every device to be on the 2.4 GhZ network).I tried a lot of things (rebooting everything, disconnecting the app, etc.) but no success.I can play Spotify from the Sonos app but I would like to just use Spotify Connect.
Sonos had my Music Library added for years off my WD MyCloud NAS drive and now (either after the Sonos update or an update to MyCloud; they both happened at the same time) Sonos won’t add the library. it gives me an error.I’ve tried following instructions on the link but it has no impact. This was working and now it isn't with no affect from me
This just started happening to me, my Sonos won’t update my music library. If i delete my music folder and re-add it will be have everything in there that should be, but if i add more music (mp3s, which i do almost daily) and have it update, none of the additions show up. my music’s on a macbook running big sur 11.6
Hello all,Ever since updating to the latest stable iOS 16, I have been having a problem where my Sonos/Airplay system keeps dropping to my iPhone when all speakers are connected. I use an iOS Shortcut to automatically connect all my speakers from my iPhone. I have tried: resetting my router, resetting all speakers, removing/adding each speaker to see if one particular speaker was the culprit. I have also changed phones, and the problem persists. The speakers do not drop when some are connected and not others. This problem persists when I do not use the shortcut and manually add the speakers - system still drops. My system consists of: Sonos Arc connected to 2 Sonos Ones and a Sub, 2 IKEA Symfonisk bookshelves, 1 IKEA Symfonisk Picture Frame Speaker, 1 Sonos Roam, and 5 HomePod Minis (2 in stereo pair, another 2 in stereo pair connected via Apple TV). All connect via Airplay. The system was previously working fine.Any idea on a fix? Has anyone been experiencing anything similar? May this
Sonos version: 11.2.13Plex version: 126.96.36.19982 (same issue encountered with 1.24.x.x)Plex running in Docker container on an HP MicroServer serving music stored on same server. Plex app works fine and can browse/stream music from internal LAN and from outside LAN. Sonos app can browse music on Plex fine.Until recently, I’ve been able to stream Plex music to SONOS without issues. It stopped working a couple of days ago. A new Plex update became available today and I’ve tried that with no success.
