I upgraded my system to the S2 app and everything seems to be working well (speakers, mobile apps, PC desktop controller on main PC) except for the Desktop Controller on my laptop. It’s an older Dell laptop running Windows 7 that I stripped of most of it’s programs and pretty much only use for Zoom, Sonos and occasional web browsing. It was working fine with the old S1 controller, and said that the new controller was installed “successfully”, but every time I open the S2 app it acts like it’s booting up for 5-10 seconds and then gives me a popup that “Sonos Desktop Controller has stopped working” and gives me the options to “Check online for a solution” or “Close the program”. Neither option has solved the problem and both ultimately result in the program closing. I have deleted the old S1 controller and tried deleting the S2 app and reinstalling but the same result… Has anyone else had this issue?
Thanks for any help,
Wesley
