Hi allI’m trying to play Tarantino's soundtrack and it appears that some songs in album are grayed out. I'm trying to do that on Tidal from inside the Sonos app on my iPhone. In the same time that songs(full album) are perfectly playable on this device directly from Tidal. It's not my playlist just album. The same on the Android device and in some other albums. Why? It's a huge disappointment. I've got few more days to return the speaker. Can anybody help?
Hello, I’d you go to Spotify > scroll down to Songs > play any song, I am getting the following error: An error occurred while adding tracks to queue (701). Songs play fine if I play them through a playlist for example. I tried reauthorizing and the issue still happening. I submitted a diagnostic report as well: 2080463729. Thanks.
I have the following Sonos setup1 x Boost2 x Play:1s paired - kitchen2 x sonos Ones paired - living room1 x sonos Five - OfficeWhen I try to play any HD music(Tidal or Sonos Radio HD) with the speakers grouped together, the music drops in and out from speaker to speaker. Especially when I switch to a new song manually. Even when I play Sonos Radio HD on the kitchen by itself I’ll get drops or the music volume will lower itself intermittently. I contacted Sonos support and after hours of troubleshooting was transferred to their top tier support. He said my wireless looked clean with no interference and we went through a number of trouble shooting steps(changed wireless channels, changed controllers, etc..) with no luck. He said he was seeing buffer overruns in the logs but that was it. He eventually just recommended wiring all the speakers with ethernet which completely defeats the purpose of buying wireless speakers.Just wondering if anyone else was having similar issues with HD music
My situation:Amazon unlimited playlist containing 12 songs. 1 of those songs is repeated. when trying to play either ‘version' of that song within the playlist it fails saying error with encoding. if I create a new playlist with all songs just once they play perfectly. this coincides with me accepting the HD upgrade from Amazon music. the simple workaround is to only ever have a song in your Amazon music playlist once but it used to work, for years on the same playlist. It also means if you accidentally add your favourite song twice you’ll never hear it. Anyone else having this issue? Know if there is a plan to fix it?
I changed broadband providers and since then whilst Alexa response and acknlowedges my request:Alexa, play songs by Prince Playing songs by prince on spotify… nothing happs. I can access the sonos app or spotify app and play songs / media on any of my many devices… but none can be operates via Alexa.I have removed Alexa from all devices - no joyRemoved all services from sonos - no joyDisabled all skills on alexa and re-enabled - no you I have a beam, several ones… none work
Our office recently upgraded our wi-fi access points. (Same password etc mind, other devices worked seamlessly) As we couldn't get the Sonos speakers to connect, I have tried factory resetting and starting from scratch. After going through the setup process on the app (successfully!) The app says that the speaker has been added but may not appear in the system tab until after a reboot. After multiple reboots it still does not appear in the app and another factory reset and set up has not made a difference. At the moment, I am working with one single Sonos Play:1 for troubleshooting, but there is a whole building full of speakers that are essentially unusable. Any ideas?
BE WARNEDIf you have am Amazon Music Unlimited account and you upgrade it to Amazon Music HD, then any Amazon Music songs already stored in playlists within the Sonos app will no longer play. I had to get Amazon to remove the "upgrade". This resolved the issue immediately.
I was playing my playbar at full volume, heard a pop and no more playbar.Lights don’t come on when powered up...I think it died...now what?
Anyone have any idea why sonos connect just stopped connecting with my android phone 5-10-2021? No phone updates made. No wifi changes. Still connects with my laptop just fine.
I just wanted to report that I had the BT Whole Home (mesh) network installed this week. As a result, the Sonos controller app now works in throughout the house - which is very convenient. My Sonos system uses a Playbase wired into my BT Home Hub. I have a Sonos Boost.
I've have a SONOS PORT (connect to a record player) which has autoplay enabled for group Kitchen (containing 2 sonos ONE's)When spinning a record, the sound can be heard via the “Kitchen” speakers. When switching to Spotify, the sound is gone. The Kitchen ONE's are still visible in the app (no error/offline message is displayed), they just don't produce any sound/music. I can control the volume “slider”but this has no effect at all. No music is broadcasted. When putting a record back on (and autoplay kicks in) the Kitchen ONEs produce sound. (So I didn't reset/touched the Kitchen ONE's). Any idea what is happening and how this can be resolved? My entire SONOS setup is using my own wifi network, is not LAN connected and thus not using SonosNET. (This is a deliberate choice...see one of my other threads for the why part :-))Thanks for the support!
Until recently when I airdropped a streaming service to my Move it would be available throughout my Sonos system… now it is limited to my stereo paired Moves to which I airdropped it. Can someone tell me what might be needed to get airdropped streaming throughout my whole system?
Have five rooms and a boost connecting all. Two rooms of play ones, two rooms of play fives with one also having a sub, and one room of play threes. When using spotify the playback is extremely hit or miss for any room or group of rooms with 10-15s interruptions common and speakers shutting on and off in various rooms. Occasionally songs end early and skip to the next track in the middle of a song. I’ve tried using a couple other services such as soundcloud, and while they’re not 100% reliable it’s only one room affected for one or both speakers, not as drastic as spotify. However when using tunein to play local radio I can group the entire set or any combo together flawlessly and instantly every time. Sonos and spotify and all speakers are updated to the latest software. As best I can tell it’s not a problem with my wifi, and the spotify account is not shared. Has anyone else experienced this and possibly found a fix? Could it possibly be a problem with my boost or the system itself?Th
Can I get help with this diagnostic code? 168644021
My Sonos Beam cuts out for 3 to 5 seconds at least once every two minutes when I am watching cable TV. That only happens when I am using my cable box as input. I have a Vizio Smart TV, and when I play from any of the apps (e.g. Prime Video, Pandora) the Beam works just fine. The problem is only with cable TV. My cable box is connected to the television via HDMI cable. My Beam is connected to the TV via HDMI arc. TV audio settings: Speakers - OffVolume Control Display - OnSurround Sound - OffVolume Leveling - OffDigital Audio - AutoAnalog Audio Out - VariableCable audio settings:Audio Coding Format - HDMI (if I use other options there is no sound at all)3D Mode - DisabledDolby Volume Mode - Off I found something that recommends disconnecting all input cables from TV, turning it off for awhile, then turning it back off. I have tried that, and it helps for awhile. However, I would have to do that every time I use my TV with cable.
I have one set of play 1 sterio pairA sonos moveA sonos oneAnd two more play 1They're driving me mad lately being full of glitches. Me speakers keep disappearing and sometimes take days to find as even installing them as new doesn't find them sometimes. If I ask alexa what's playing, I'm told either nothing is playing or the wrong song and the speakers won't play in unison with some even playing different songs despite being set in the same group. Lastly it keeps skipping tracks half way through. It's just weird. I've recently upgraded my router to try and help with the demand but it's not really helped. Anybody know whats up?
Hi, my wifi signal is about 500mbps before sonos connection. Whenever I on and connect Sonos Beam to the wifi router, the wifi signal will degrade by 75% after wireless connection. Can anyone advise how to resolve this issue? Thank you

One day, everything was working fine, the very next day, it all stopped and the Sonos S1 app cannot see the system. All morning alarms did not go off and caused mayhem! Why has the historic reliability of the product gone out the window? Why is Sonos becoming so unreliable, it is clear that it is trying to force all its customers to update their devices to newer kit but this is ridiculous and very short-sighted! You are going to lose all the loyalty you once gained through all of these issues. Merge your two apps into one app and grey out any functions that are not backward compatible and better quality control in place.I do not think I am alone as stating that I am a disappointed customer of many years and will not be upgrading any products moving forward.
I had some weirdness occur overnight so thought I’d share. A few mos ago I upgraded four of my eligible devices to S2. They aretwo Sonos 5 speakers Play:3 speaker Connect amp I had a few quirky control issues initially but all cleared on its own in short order and I was finally able to get to use the new S2 controller. Last night I noticed the Connect Amp and Play3 had dropped from the S2 controller. Both are WiFi connected. WiFi is up so I restarted them and no change. I reset them both and while they were found by setup they failed to be added to S2 as they could’nt get connected to WiFi. No changes on my WiFi were made. With no other alternatives I decided to try to add them to S1. After installing S1 firmware was able to add them back and working but only in S1. So what gives? Two devices deemed S2 compatible, successfully upgraded and then all of a sudden no longer work with S2? I’m discounting my Wifi as an issue as they now work fine back on S1 and assume they reqmts would be t
Hi I am having an issue with my sonos system and powerline adaptor. My sonos system is set up via wifi and I have a powerline connected to to wifi to extend my wifi range to the garden. When I open the sonos app via ios phone my system will not appear and will only reappear if I reset the router. The system will appear for a period of time then disappear again until another router reset. I have performed a quick test and disconnected the powerline adaptor and this has solved the issue of the system disappearing from the app. Can anyone recommend how I can reconnect the powerline adaptor (which is only used to extend my wifi range to my garden) but not affect the sonos system? Thanks
I have a very strange issue. I have a Sony X800H 43" TV connected to an Amp via ARC. Everything sounds fine, however, each time I set the audio output on the TV to "TV Speakers," it starts playing through the TV Speakers, but then a few seconds later it says "switching audio to external speakers" and it plays the audio only through the Sonos Amp. The audio output still says "TV Speakers." My TV remote also now controls the Amp volume. Does anyone know why this would be happening? I'm not able to listen to sound though the TV speakers. Just through the Sonos Amp. I cannot tell if this is a TV or an Amp issue.
The Sonos App (IOS) will not find my Sonos system in certain rooms. This is my setup…SKY Q Router in the HallwaySonos One in the Living room (wired to router through powerline ethernet)Sonos One in the Kitchen (wireless)Sonos Play:1 Playroom (wireless)Sonos Play:1 Bedroom (wireless)The Sonos App on my phone will only find the Sonos system if I am in the Living room. When I open the Sonos app in the kitchen (or even next to the router in the hall) it can’t find the system at all. I had the same issue when all Sonos devices were wireless so I thought I would try to use SonosNet by hardwiring a Sonos ONE to the router. I am still having the same problems.Any advice please?
I am not sure if there has been an “update” or such like in the last week or so but in that time, when I seek to connect to the Sonos on my iPhone, it fades through the connection screen and comes up with the error message and “fix it”. Each time I have to go through the process and 75% of the time I have to turn the router off and back on again, hence disabling house WiFi for about 10 minutes. I would say it has happened every 2 or 3 days in the past week. Connection to my Mac remains fine in the meantime just the iPhone app. It is a pain. Before you ask, it is not a new router etc. I have also had to hard wire the Sonos via ethernet to get it to locate it. Again, only from the iPhone app and not the computer. Answers on a postcard please
I’ve had Sonos products for a number of years now and my system contains the following; 2 x Sonos OnesPlaybaseand now a roam. However over the last few months it has been very flaky with frequent “unable to connect” messages. It seemed to settle down for a while but again the past two mornings when trying to play music it has dropped off. Using one of the Sonos ones it played for around 2-3 minutes before dropping off, then coming back on, and now not able to connect at all. Very frustrating. Both myself and wife work from home and are able to work away on calls and using files but Sonos just appears to affected.
