Hello all, I would like to try to add a Transparent Speaker which has an Apple Airport Express of the 1st generation https://www.lifewire.com/apple-airport-express-overview-1847427 to connect to my Sonos system and be visible in the Sonos app.

Anyone tried this?

I wouldn’t think any third party speaker would show up in the Sonos app. The only way you might be able to push Sonos content to a third party speaker would be by connecting it to either a Sonos Port (line out), or a Sonos Amp as a speaker, in both cases it would be the Sonos device that shows up in the controller, and not the third party speaker itself.
