Hi all can't find anything online about what I'm trying to achieve so I thought I'd reach out here.I have a Arc, sub gen 3 and two play ones acting as surrounds in my living room which is all great but in the summer I'd like to take my sub and two play ones out in the garden to play music and not involve the arc.I'm trying to replicate this set up in my living room but the arc keeps butting in,if I unplug power to the arc everything else is greyed out on the app which is what I'd imagine would happen if I physically moved out to the garden being on the same WiFi and all.Any can or can nots would be much appreciated .Even if I could set up a different Sonos account on a tablet/phone but using the same WiFi would be something. Thanks in advance
Playbar sound is cutting in and out while watching cable tv, streaming and internet TV. I disconnected cable HDMI but sounds still cuts in and out. When sound is out, white light on side of playbar blinks and when sound is out. Diagnostic 1909477452. Thanks
Hi All,Since S2 App update on Friday I lost a Sonos Play 1 Gen1 speaker from my system, I have 2 . Managed to get them all recognised on the App but they will no longer Stereo Pair , I just get this on the app. Any help would be appreciated .
Does someone's sonos move on one side get a little hotter than the other? It happens to me on the right side if I look at it from the front. I do not know if it's normal...
I have a Sonos Port that is connected to my Yamaha RX-A770. I have tried it wired and wireless but this issue remains. When one song ends and another begins (streaming from Spotify) the music stops for about 10 - 15 seconds on the Port. The rest of the speakers in the house continue playing. I’ve tried making everything wireless and tried using wired for the Port and speakers that are near an ethernet outlet. I ran a diagnostics this morning during the problem (38917787). Can someone review and provide suggestions? Thanks
I received a Sonos 1 (gen 2) for Christmas and haven’t been able to get it to play my Amazon playlist since I got it. If I ask it to play it via Alexa it will do so, but I keep getting “Requested operation failed. Please try again” when I try and access it from the Sonos app on my Android phone. It’ll play the playlists that Amazon has created using my music (My Music Review 2020 for instance). It’ll also play albums and singers from my collection but it won’t play my playlist.I’ve removed and re-added Amazon Music from the app; I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app; I have moved the portable phone which was too close to the Sonos. Nothing has worked. All I want to be able to do is manage my playlists from the app and it is getting very frustrating that two things that are supposed to work seamlessly aren’t.
My Move works great if it's already playing something when I take it off its dock. But once I stop the play, it won't be visible on the app again until it's back on the dock. Any ideas?
I have two Sonos Play speakers which worked perfectly well on the original app.I received a Sonos One as a present.I realise that you can’t have all three grouped. When I tried to setup the One using the original app it said I had to use the new app as the old app didn’t support the new speakers.I did this but before I could really do anything the new app detected the Play speakers and said I had to use the original app.I can’t do anything with the original app though because that also detects the new One.I just go round in circles.I have ended up switching the two Play speakers off and deleting the original app but this now means I can only use the One with the new app.I don’t mind not being able to group them into one system but is there any way I can have two systems? The original Play as one and the new One with the new app.Its so frustrating.

I live in an apartment building with a lot of 2.4Ghz interference. Signal scans would often show upwards of 25 battling 2.4Ghz signals, and that’s the environment in which I was trying to get Sonos to behave. I tried wireless first, which was a disaster. Then I got a Boost, which helped somewhat, but not enough. So I hardwired one of the speakers, then added the Boost, then hardwired a second speaker plus the Boost, and everything would work for 30 minutes or so until my neighbors came home, or until I decided to use the microwave (!).Over the past year or so I took advantage of the upgrade discount to get rid of my abominable Play:1s. Then yesterday I finally decided to replace those terrible Gen1 Ones with One SLs, hoping that being 100% 5Ghz compatible would be my ticket. After setting them up, rebooting my router, and confirming that all of my Sonos speakers were hooked up to 5G...hallelujah! Rock-solid connection, amazing sound, AirPlay FINALLY works dependably. The moral of
Sonos doesn’t connect from iPhone but dies on other devices. Tried deleting app will connect on Ethernet. Wifi same and settings match Sonos.
Hi community / support,I’ve had my sonos playbase working on my home network (wired and wifi) with no issues for 3 years or so.Noticed here the other day that the playbase wifi in fact wasn’t working any more. sound from TV via optical cable worked just fine but I noted that when I tried to stream audio to the unit that the playbase wasn’t part of my surround setup anymore (SUB 1st gen, 2x Sonos:one).I’ve since tried different factory reset scenarios trough the wired connection but still haven’t managed to get wifi working again. Ethernet/wired still works fine on the playbase but I need the wireless setup in my livingroom. This has been working just fine the past few years. I’ve read the different threads with users having the same wifi issue across the products but with the playbase especially. I don’t know what to do atm. I’m suspecting that the wifi unit/chip on the playbase is now faulty. I certaintly hope not. What to do now? I’ve run the diagnostics and it’s submitted. The numbe
hello therei have just created a google mesh wifi (not google nest) and now want to connect my Sonos system to that, my problem is in order to change wifi network i have to plug an ethernet cable in to the new network router which in this case is the google mesh, but the mesh only has one port which is to be connected to the main internet router, so basically Sonos is not compatible with Google mesh ? can someone help me pleae, i go in to network settings on the app and the only wifi network it sees is the current one/old one which i no longer want to use for wifi. many thanks
I have issues with Sonos only playing radio stations and nothing from amazon music. I de registered my Sonos and created a new account and have re set all the links. To re register I was told to reboot. However the SONOS microphone is not working and unresponsive to touch. I can only play music on the Sonos by asking Alexa through my mobile. How can I get the microphone to work on the SONOS?
Ever since I installed the new Sonos app I’m not able to sign in to my account anymore. It somehow has linked my account to another one that I do not own and won’t accept me using my credentials. This is extremely frustrating. How can I get to log in? Factory reset maybe?
I am quite satisfied with my ARC but one problem annoys me:When i power off my TV the ARC will not respond to Alexa voice commands. In the Sonos App the ARC is still connected to the TV so i always have to use the App when i want to start music after watching TV.Would be much more convenient if the ARC just quits the TV connection and would go into Alexa or whatever mode.Is there any way i can set this up?I am using a Philips PUS49 TV, the ARC is connected via HDMI/ARC. Greetings, Sascha
Greetings, I had my Sonos One for a year now, ever since i updated the Sonos S1 application to Sonos S2, my Sonos speaker is no longer discoverable in Airplay list, i can only view my speaker through the app itself, may i know if there’s any troubleshooting guide to resolve this issue?
Hello everyone!!!I recently got gifted a Sonos One gen 2 with incorporated Alexa, and I also got gifted a Vankyo projector 430 Leisure (I love Chrismas), I thought that it would make sense for me to get an Amazon firestick to stream content, since the Sonos had Alexa incorporated but for some reason I can’t get the projectors audio to come out through the Sonos. I am not tech savvy at all so please give me the “for dummies” version I thank you in advance for your answers
Hi,I’m writing this for my father who have problems with his Sonos system. The problem have been present for a while, and we've tried several things. We have also contacted Sonos support and tried what they suggested - but the problem is still there. The system right nowBedroomA stereo pair of Play:1. A restart of the speakers in the bedroom (unplugging them) makes them appear in the app again. The bedroom speakers did never disappear when he used a wireless setup.Other versions of the problemWireless setupWhen the system was using a Wireless setup (with the routers WiFi) the surround speakers usually was the ones that disappeared from the app. The bedroom speakers, the Beam or th
Hello wise people. We have an S1 system in the house which has a Bridge, Play:3 and Connect connected to the home wifi. I have the S1 controller app on my phone.I bought a Sonos One for my new home office but the S1 app can’t find it, even when I’m holding my phone next to it.So I downloaded S2 intending to set up a completely new system just for my home office (obviously on the same wifi). It keeps redirecting me to use the S1 controller or ‘set up a new system’ but then doesn’t give me this option.Could it be that my iPhone 6plus is too old to support the S2 controller? Or is there something else I’m missing? Thanks for any help.Emma
Dear Sonos team, I have a 2x play 1 , 1x play 5 and these are connected via a bridge. Since a couple of weeks, the Sonos app losses the connection to my Spotify account but I can always play Spotify via Spotify direct connection but in the app itself it seems like Sonos has lost the complete connection to my account incl. All tune in radio stations and everything connected to the account. Sometimes it just takes a while and then it works .. Also, often Spotify tracks are jumped over when I have opened the album in the Sonos app.. I have done all the tips , from changing the channel, over restarting router but it came out the same. I even reconnected the account to the Sonos system .. Can you please help me ? Best regards, Simon
I am trying to connect my Move to my existing Sonos system, It will find the MOVE but when I go to the next step it says unable to connect. The move sometimes has a blinking red light sometimes white, sometimes green..I am ready to return this…

I just bought a new android TV from sharp. I set up my playbar following the instructions in the app, including setting up the TV remote to control volume over the playbar. The remote works fine to *lower* the volume, but whenever I turn the volume *up* it switches the TV speakers back on and turns both the TV and the playbar volume up. I already have "external speakers" checked in the android TV settings and supposedly the TV speakers are off. Any help?
