I just received my new Sub (Gen3). I follow the complete procedure to connect it but at the last step the sub does not connect to the network. I receive the message to check if the network nama and password are correct.I retype the password, but the system still fails to connect.My ARC and 2 One satellites are working perfectly and i connected them in few seconds. Why is the Sub not working ?thanks for your help !

I have had a Sonos system for years, I’ve got rooms with stereo pairs and a surround sound set up…..everything is Sonos I absolutely love it…..well I did until I got a Move at Christmas, it’s constantly going missing or offline, constantly dropping out and it’s so frustrating and causing issues with the set up.  I have a wired set up and can’t understand or get to the bottom of why.  Any advice would be appreciated    Paul

Since the latest app update, my sonos one wont connect. Have done a factory reset and have it connected to the route. I had a mare getting my Play 1’s connected back to my Beam, all was working fine….grrr well done sonos. Any ideas on the One?

So this is very odd.  I just got a full Sonos Arc system with the sub and rear SL1's.  So I get everything connected in the app and then plug the arc into my TV's ARC port via HDMI and it's working fine.  I watched a little bit of John Wick 3 on Vudu to hear how it sounds with the rears and it's great.  Turned on my PS5, same thing, sounds fantastic, but I can't use my app now.  When I start my app it keeps telling me Unable to login to Sonos now. It was working a little bit after the initial install, but oddly separated my rear SL's into living room 2 instead of my main living room with the arc and sub.  I brought them over from that room to the main living room, then it said my rear left wasn't connected, even though it was and working, so I tried to disconnect and re-configure them.  Let's just say it didn't work and then I was just getting sound out of 1 SL and getting a blinking white light on the other.Fast forward a few hours.  Wife had to go to work, and I had to take kids to g

I have a play 5 and two Sonos 1s and I moved them in the house.  The app then wouldn’t work and I’ve tried to reconnect them, reset the app and now the app doesn’t recognize anything.  Help? 

I have 2 play 1 and a first generation play 5 mall works well until release of new controller. Can’t update as the gen 1 play 5 doesn’t allowme to. System works fine but the play 5 keeps cutting in and out. Play 5 in one room, 2 play 1 in next room with a wireless hub in between the two rooms. all Speakers are within 5 metres of each other. No hassles with play 1 but continuous drop outs with the play 5 please help

I am using my play 5 to plug in a home projector to line in. The volume is really low on the sonos system. Any suggestions? 

for about a year in different softwareversions (now  13.1) my Beam rename itself back to previous name…

The app keeps freezing at the end of the first test after the two circles merge into one large green circle.   Nothing then happens and it just stalls. I’ve tried turning off all other apps and restarting the speakers (play at and sub) but nothing seems to help get past this block.  I’ve just setup a beam in another room so the app has worked previously, so not sure what it can be. Any help gratefully appreciated.  im using an iPhone 11 with latest updates.  many thanks 

While listening to music, one of my surround sound (Sonos One) drops. It’s as if it goes to sleep. I can pause playback and immediately unpause, and the speaker comes back to life. The problem seems to be isolated to one speaker and only while playing music. This doesn’t happen with tv or tv streaming. Any suggestions?

I have three Sonos One’s and a Play 1 on my system and have recently added a Beam connected via HDMI ARC to my LG TV. Strangely I can’t get the microphone to work on the Beam, the light won’t come on even when the button is pressed, This isn’t the main problem though. All of the Sonos units keep losing connection to the wifi. My house is not huge, a 2 bed end terrace, and I have a 38mb/s Wi-fi although typically it’s speed testing at 30mb/s so may need a call to my broadband provider too. I have switched to my previous router and the problems still exist. Sometimes it just reconnects itself automatically but often it will be playing a radio station for example and then it drops the connection, Opening up the Sonos App shows that the system is not found.   Is this likely to be a Wi-fi issue or a problem with Sonos? Any ideas?

HiSince a few days back my Sonos system has started to occasionally repeat the last played song on its own, both playlist and album tracks. Quite annoying and isn’t always occurring it seems. I’ve read some old posts dating back a few years but no other posts in recent time.Have a look please, diagnose number 1515669413/LK

One of my speakers stopped working and will now only work if directly connected to router. Light is still white. I have reset it several times. 

Sonos Move, new last Christmas, has always been a problem:  When initially set up, would be visible to some android controllers but not others.  Even when all are connected to same wifi network and/or same wifi network AP/ssid. ONLY the Desktop app tells me to register the product.  Upon initial install and some subsequent factory reset operations, android app doesn’t ask me to register the ‘new product’.  This is very frustrating when you forget you have to register the Move on the desktop PC. On most attempts to ‘find missing product’ or ‘install new product’, the operation fails, telling me there’s a problem connecting to the network that all devices are connected to.  On SOME attempts to ‘find missing’ or ‘install new’, android app suggests using bluetooth, and that has worked ONE time, but the Move is still not visible/controllable by all controllers. NOW, the Move will not enter bluetooth mode and fails on every attempt to ‘find missing’ or ‘install new’, and yet, system info sho

Hello,I live in a 2-floor house (ground level and 1st floor), which has 500 Mb/s internet connection. I use a TP-link Mesh wifi setup to distribute internet: 3x Deco M9plus (one is the main Deco attached to my modem) + 2x Deco M5.In my living room (ground level), there are 1x PlayBar + Sub + 2x Play 3 (just in a next room where the main Deco M9plus is). In this living room, there is also a second Deco M9plus using a ethernet backhaul. In the same level, I have another room where there is a Sonos Amp (in this room there is also a Deco M5 using wifi backhaul).In the 1st floor, there is a Deco M9plus attached with ethernet backhaul where there are 3 rooms (there is a Play 3 in each room; the last room has also a Deco M5, wifi backhaul).Everywhere in the house, I have at least 200-250 Mb/s wifi speed.Sonos setup is with wifi (WM).When I play Tune-In, all the speakers work well except the home cinema PlayBar+Sub+2x Play 3 group (wifi signal is around 300-400 Mb/s here), when it works alone,

Got the Five on 11.11. Love the sound and turn on as often as I get the chance.In just the last couple of months, I noticed that the music stops after a while.  Initially I thought the playlist ended but lately, I started noticing a sudden stop in the playing mid song.I use a Linksys Velop mesh.  I have only the Five. Switched the channels on the Mesh, Reset the mesh.  Even unplugged, & reconnected my fibre broadband. Did a wired connection of the Five to the root (parent) router of the Linksys Mesh. Have also tried to uninstall the Sonos Five and re-install the Five. Hi,Several of the search tabs in the S1 android app are causing the app to crash for me. In particular, Podcasts and Shows, Genres, Stations and perhaps a few others. Unaffected are Artists, Songs, and Albums. I can switch to the tab successfully, but when I start typing, the app unceremoniously closes. I’m on a Galaxy S9+. Anyone else experiencing this?I tried clearing the cash as well as reinstalling the app to no avail.Thanks,Stuart

Hi allI know there was much written about SONOS and STP and I have read all (as far as found) in the German and English community.I have no chance to get it run on my network. As soon as I connect the second SONOS to the LAN the network goes down.I tried to get assistance from SONOS and Netgear (the switches I use). No chance.I really would like to understand where the problem is.Maybe there is somebody who could help/assist? Would be very graetful.Thanks.This is my network: 

I have recently purchase an 85Q70T and trying to program the remote to control the volume for my Playbar. I’ve replaced the remote with Samsung, gone through the set up a number of times, Sonos blames Samsung, Samsung blames Sonos - anyone else find a fix for this? 

I am running the S2 App on an iphone. I have a Beam and two Play1s connected as a surround sound system and a Play One in my office. None are wired, so I am using a wireless setup. I find that several times a day my app loses connection to the system, then it pops back up again. During this loss, the speakers still playy music  (manually using volume up/down or pause play on the speaker also works) They also respond to Alexa OK when hte App loses them, So it looks like the speakers are connected OK to the router. It is an app connection issueto the sysyem. So I have removed and re-installed the S2 app. I have removed and setup the sonos system as new, I have turned off my router (left for 5 mins with no poweer) and ensured that I am using Channel 11 on the router. Still no joy. I culd wire my Beam to the router as they are close. IS that worth trying, or does anyone else have any other ideas?Oh, and I have spent some time with Sonos support but it didnt help. I have five Sonos One/SL speakers, with two of them being in a stereo pair. I also have a Sonos Move. Since all of my devices are current generation products and I have an enterprise grade mesh WiFi network in my home (Unifi) I didn't think I would have any issues upgrading the system to S2. 90% of my listening is initiated with Alexa and is playing music from Spotify.   Unfortunately I have experienced continuous problems with all of my devices since doing this upgrade.   Devices drop off network L+R device will show a ? for one of the two speakers or only one of the two speakers will play. Alexa mysteriously stops working on devices. Can’t group devices for playback… one or more device won’t play at all even though the system sees it. Sometimes Sonos S2 app shows that a device is participating in group playback but also that the device is still available for another music session. I have rebooted devices multiple times, restarted the app, unpaired and repaired services (Alexa,

hello can someone help set up my sonos speakers as default speakers for my laptop and possibly tablet running windows 10 so I can use them when online when streaming youtube videos etc… I have the sonos app set up for sptify and youtube music already and that works fine 

I recently added a Sonos Five and turntable to my system.  The turntable is plugged into the speaker via Line-in.  When I stream music to the Five (or to a group that it is in), I have to click play multiple times.  At first it looks like it is going to start playing the queue, but then it just stops.  Also if I pause, it loses track of where in the song it paused and I have to start the song over.  It’s a minor grievance, but wondering if anyone else has encountered this and has a solution.

We have 2 Mac desktop computers in our house, both running Mac OS 10.4.6 (Mojave),ITunes 12.9.5.5.We have a Sonos Beam with 2 Sonos One Speakers and a Sonos sub.We are using Sonos App 12.2.2 and everything is S2.One of our desktop Macs (a MacBookPro) can play music via iTunes/Airdrop to the Sonos system without any problem.However the other Mac (an iMac) is unable to connect to the Sonos system, even when the MBP is turned off. We just get a message that iTunes in the iMac is unable to find a system to connect to.Both computers are on the same wireless network with wifi turned on.Can anyone help us figure out why one computer’s iTunes can connect via AirPlay 2 and the other one cannot?
