Is there a reason that the audio output from a TV would not work as input into a Component Audio Analog input?

Thanks

It'll work, but there will be a delay in the audio, which will cause a lip sync issue between the picture on the TV and the audio you hear. If your TV offers an adjustment for that (some do, some don't), then you might be able to adjust to make things look normal.
