I had the S1 app for many years - all was working fine with Alexa. I could ask Alexa to play “x” on “y” room.
I upgraded some of my Sonos ecosystem - but couldn’t afford to upgrade all to S2 app compatibility. Therefore I have 3 speakers on S1 and the rest on S2. But that seems to have created a problem where all Sonos elements show as ‘online’ on the list devices page - but when I click into each speaker/amp/etc - they are all offline. I have only linked the S2 system with Alexa.
I have completed the steps below:
Turned off phone
App versions - up to date
Disabled enabled skill in Alexa
Removed and added speaker to Alexa app
Added Alexa skill in sonos
Reset network
Turned everything off and on
Diagnostic data ******************
Given that I’ve spent a few hours to get something that I use maybe once a day - is it worth pursuing?
