Has anyone else experienced either of these issues with their Sonos Ace Ultra?Mine developed a noise/rattle in the left ear cup, as though something inside was loose. I wondered whether it might be the battery, but that’s only a suspicion—I haven’t opened them up to check.Battery life was also disappointing: roughly 11–12 hours, around a third of the advertised 35 hours. They’ve now been posted back to Sonos for replacement, so I’m not looking for troubleshooting at this stage. I’m just curious whether anyone else has noticed similar issues, or whether I was unlucky with my particular pair.If you’ve experienced either, I’d be interested to hear whether a replacement resolved it.

Improve ARC ultra w more speakers? I am underwhelmed with the sound with my new Samsung TV.  Dialogue ( especially) females seems " brittle" and thin. Music not as good as reviews have stated. Anybody have this issue and then added ERA100's or a sub ? Dont want to go deeper $$ if this won't improve greatly.  btw - have tried every setting possible in app but can’t tell much difference in any setting. Sorry I did not live 1st  more bars 1st.

Hello all, I hope someone can help me.I noticed the other day that a few albums in my library had suddenly split into multiple albums. At first I thought there may have been an update that had changed the way certain albums were tagged. I did some rudimentary checks on the album tags (I use Tag & Rename) but couldn't see any issues. However on further examination I noticed that the multiple of the albums had the same track in them see images below.Multiple of one album.Only one track (The same track) showing in both albumsYou can see that a look into the folder for this album shows 11 tracks. View into the folder for albumDoing a re-scan of the library does not fix the issue. But I have found that by adding a new album to my library fixes the issue after a re-scan. However I have noticed that adding a new album can correct one problem but then suddenly another suddenly is inflicted with the same issue. So I am very confused as why adding one album can suddenly cause this issue with

I have finally noticed an issue with the Local Library           (Music library) Album view.  The screenshots will show the problem.  This is not due to faulty tagging.  I suffer from tagging OCD.  The album is not even a compilation album.

I’ve just added my Era 100s to my Ray as surrounds. All good, even got the pleasant little jungle to confirm. When music is sent to my TV room, all three play fine but nothing comes from the Eras when using TV, even though I can apparently control the volume on the Ray using the control on the Eras, so clearly connected. Any thought folks?

I can't add Imported Playlists to the queue in the Android app from my Music Library.  This was working previously in the Android app.  Doing the same Imported Playlist in the Windows version of Sonos app is working without issue so it is not an issue with the Playlist. The Android app can see the tracks in the playlist, but if I click on the play or shuffle icon it just spins away doing nothing. If I try to add or replace the queue with the tracks from the playlist it just spins. If I click on the three dots next to.the track and select Play Now, the track plays. This is broken for even Imported Playlists with 1 track. Is this a known issue that's been broken in a recent app update? I have searched but can't see anything about imported playlists broken on Android recently.Android App Version:  83.01.9

It’s disappointing that SONOS acknowledges that you cannot select a Group for an Alarm and instead instructs you to pick a Room and select Include Grouped Rooms. What if that Room is part of more than one Group??  The easier, more intuitive option would be to allow you to choose a Group for the Alarm, right?  And here is an additional issue I’m having with Include Grouped Rooms - a speaker that is not “included” in a room that is selected for an Alarm, comes on with that Alarm intermittently..?  Worst part of the issue is - it’s a 6AM Alarm that comes on in the bedroom when it shouldn’t.  That only heightens my frustration with this lack of feature/function when that happens.  Thanks for considering this enhancement.

Since the October 6 system update, my Arc Ultra has to be turned up about 10 to 15 steps to get to the same volume where it was before the update.  Also, if I play my beam ultra at 45, I have to turn my Arc Ultra to about 60 to achieve the same volume.  This did not happen before the update.  I’ve power cycled, turned off voice enhancement, turned ON loudness and everything else.  The update botched mine.  Did it botch anyonee else’s Arc Ultra?

Just read a very helpful thread on ERA300’s ceiling mount Vs In ceiling ….. I have the same issue. Probably easier than the OP on that thread. We have a rectangular room. But with a large triangular corner in glass. Long story, looks nice etc but not ideal for placing speakers. The front viewing wall is perfectly symetrical and has just been rewired so TV, sound bar and other components are perfectly centered as is the viewing settee. The viewing settee has a left hand and right hand 2 seater settee perpendicular to the main viewing settee. So everything is front is peachy. But the rear means the ERA 300 RHS would be over the arm if wall mounted. Not ideal. The LHS one not a problem. Can use floor stands but I’m thinking ceiling mounted on a Flexson and use SW in app to invert the sound? The flexson appears have a long reach such that it could be in a proper position in line with the Arc Ultra. This is the Flexson ceiling mount in question. not the prettiest but maybe works.Install is no

I’m considering replacing my Beam Gen 2 with the Ultra, however I cannot find adequate information on how I would have to mount it to my TV. My Beam 2 is mounted to my LG TV with this mount: Mounting Dream Soundbar Mount Designed for SONOS Beam Ideally there would be a mount that could attach to the existing brackets so I don’t have to remove my 77” TV from it’s swivel wall mount. I’ve not had any luck finding information about this. Ideas?.

I noticed on my One, Google Assistant wasn't working so I repaired it. It was Gemini now for a little while, but now it switched back to Google Assistant. Anyone have a fix? Thanks!

I am unable to connect to my Play:5’s. I have restarted both my router and both Play’s to no avail; In Settings>Network>Wireless Networks then selecting my missing speaker and going through the holding the button on the back until I get flashing amber, I can’t then join the temp network  ‘SONOS’ to continue configuration, I am told I can’t connect to the network ‘SONOS’, then the process tells me it is connecting to my Play:5 but never gets anywhere - I am told that you can't exit set up right now’. The router is a new one, supplied by my ISP. I have previously had no problems connecting to and using my Play:5’s. I have a few other Sonos products to re-connect to my network, but have not yet had the opportunity to do so.

I have a serious and annoying bug from some time. When I switch on my TV, connected to an Amp, the Amp and all active speakers in my system sets their volume to 100% !It is obviously extremely annoying. Before, switching on the TV would have no effect on other speakers and the Amp would detach itself from any group. This is the intented behavior.I suspect this is a bug from lastest software release since nothing changed in my setup.

Hi folks,I have 25 components around our home and we have SVC active on all with the capability.  I’ve noticed recently that system is mistakenly hearing/responding to random words in TV or Movie.  Is this a common issue?   We  also recently added Hue lighting and the system doesn’t respond well at all to those commands.

All of a sudden my Sonos will no longer play WMA files from my WD NAS Drive.I can navigate to the folder/track etc.Song starts, i get approx 1 second audio and then nothing, track still shows as still playing.Leave it running i get sporadic audio for about a second every now and then. There is no changes to NAS, Router in terms of setup / config. Rebooted both, still the same.Have updated teh music library several times. Its the same fro all speakers, play 1, One, Roam, 300 etc.System quite happy to play FLAC Files, no change there.Any ideas, greatly appreciated.

Hey guys. I've swapped my beam gen 2 to the new ultra. I play full fat remuxes through my pc. True-HD Atmos etc bitstreamed lg G4 oled. . Everything works perfectly with the beam gen 2. I use mpc-hc/madvr. Player.I change over to the beam ultra and audio stutters and cuts out. I've tried. Resetting every. Changing software players etc and nothing cures it.Plug the beam gen 2 back in and everything works perfectly againDo I send the beam ultra back? Either hardware issue or codec problem. Either way I can't see a fix. Obviously all the same cabling used for both and I tried changing over to different onesReset network etc. don't know what else to try. Not a problem my end. Definitely with the beam ultra. Only seems to be with the high bitrate stuff

👋🏼 Hey everyone!Along with the new brand campaign that was launched earlier this month, I’ve been working behind the scenes to bring a fresh coat of paint and a few new features to the Community Forums. There's a lot changing and nearly all of it is focused on one thing: bringing the community together and giving this space the care and attention it deserves, in a way that's actually felt and sustainable. The current targeted date for these changes is October 6th. You should not see any downtime while I make these changes, but I will be around - so please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly or mention me in a topic/comment should something go sideways.  Here are the details:  Threaded Replies 💬Just like Reddit. You'll be able to reply directly to each other and have side conversations within topics instead of everything living in one long flat thread. This one has been a long time coming and I think it's going to change the feel of conversations here in the best way. It also

I thought this might be a useful UK-specific discussion for anyone using Sky Stream with Sonos home theatre. I have Sky Stream Multiroom, with several Stream pucks connected to modern Samsung eARC TVs and Sonos home theatre setups. All of the Samsung TVs themselves are set to Passthrough. On most of the Sky Stream pucks, I also have the audio output set to Passthrough, and they work perfectly. However, on one particular setup I occasionally get garbled audio or no sound, usually around advert/programme transitions on Dolby 5.1 channels such as Channel 4 or Channel 5.Changing only the Sky Stream puck's audio setting from Passthrough to Auto completely stops the problem. The Samsung TV itself remains set to Passthrough.Interestingly, it also appears isolated to Sky Stream on that TV. The TV's own streaming apps, Apple TV and Blu-ray player all work perfectly, including surround/Atmos content. It got me wondering what other UK owners are finding:📺 Sky Stream or Sky Q?🔊 Which Sonos home the

I enjoy discovering simple ways to improve the listening experience at home. What are your favorite Sonos settings, features, or tips for getting better sound quality?

I was an early adopter of Sonos. I’ve been a product tester, have several thousands of dollars in Sonos products and have been on a Sonos system for nearly 20 years. In the first decade of using Sonos it felt like a world change to my prior music system -- not in audio quality, but in the useability, connectivity, and experience. It’s now totally the opposite. Cumbersome, constant wifi/network/password issues, updates, system settings, serial numbers, endless grind to keep it online. In addition, the actual speakers do not sound as good as they once did to my ear. Not only did they retire some of the best speakers they’ve ever made, the replacements do not have the same quality. I often just go to my garage to listen to my gen 1 Sonos system. My nearly $1k Sub died just after “warranty” after only a few years. I’m told there’s no fixing it and it’s barely been used. It always created more connectivity problems than it was worth and now it is literally a 30 pound piece of garbage.I’m don

Well, I bought into this SONOS system and it used to work awesome.  Now, it’s crap. Now I have all of these components and they're all as good as paperweights now.  I cannot get this BS system to work anymore for anything.  I have submitted diagnostics, well when the system will allow me to anyways, most the times I cannot even submit diagnostics because I can't connect to it or it just simply won’t let me.  I'm so frustrated with this system.  I have speakers in every room of my house and I sure wish I could control them.  My speakers drop off, one room will play one thing while the rest of the house is on something else or just gone.  I've spent time with the techs on the phone.  I've had to go to every single piece of equipment and unplug it and plug it back in. I just want to listen to music in my house but I guess I put all my money into the wrong system.  Anyone have a better system they are using now cause I'm ready to throw thousands of dollars away to get music in my house.  S

When switching from TV swap back to TV audio the Sonos system does not to go to the previous volume level. So for example im listening to on my Sonos Arc and set the volume to 1 of 100, then I turn on the Ace Ultra and use TV swap, listen on the headphones then later I turn off TV swap or turn off the Ace Ultra, as soon as the audio goes back to the Arc The volume is now 30 of 100, blasting instant loud sound through the house! This kinda defeats the purpose of TV swap because when it's turned off the soundbar goes full ham and blasts loud sounds through the househope this is just a bug that can be fixed by Sonos? The Soundbar should remember the volume it's set at and not go to some random high volume when TV swap from the Ace Ultra is disconnected   Now I have a question too - when watching a movie from streaming service or Blu-ray that has Atmos audio, should I use Spatial Audio on the Ace Ultra? The headphones are receiving Atmos audio from the Arc, does it pass through surround audi

Anyway to delete or hide the continuous Apple Music issue pop up? It’s gotten old.
