Is there a downside to adding these speakers?

I’m still pretty new to Sonos. I’ve set up two home theaters in my house, one upstairs and one downstairs. Downstairs I have an arc ultra, a mini sub and two era 100s. Upstairs I have a beam, a mini sub and two era 100s. I have a couple of era 300s but I haven’t unboxed yet because I’m trying to decide where I want to use them. I was chatting with a neighbor who told me that she bought some Sonos speakers that were used once for a Super Bowl party, then put back into their boxes, never to be used again. She didn’t really know what kind of speakers she had, but I took a peek and it’s an arc a sub and two Sonos ones. They look and sound perfect. She plans to put them on marketplace for $700 to recoup about half of what she paid, but said she’s let me have them for $450. My questions is whether I can use this equipment with my newer speakers?
I don’t need another arc but I could use the Sonos ones in my office, but, having a sub sounds is what has me considering this. Unless I’m missing something that sounds like a good deal. I don’t know where I’m going with all this equipment yet, and purchasing more almost makes me feel like a hoarder, but it seems like a good idea to me. Yes, I should have a better plan, but is there a downside to this beyond spending the money for the speakers?

And don’t forget that you can try out different combinations of Sub/Sub Mini with different speakers in each of your rooms to create the “best” (go by what sounds right to you) setup that suits you!

That is less than the Sub (even a refurb gen 3) would cost and the (hopefully) Ones are excellent small speakers.

The Arc is also a speaker, I'd consider putting it on top of the kitchen cabinets unless you have a better spot.

How many rooms do you have? Get speakers in every room: great for parties where the same music is available through the house. Stereo-paired Eras sound great if you want a “music-listening room”.

Buy from your neighbour, keep what you want and sell the rest.

I would take that deal in heartbeat.  I would replace your downstairs mini sub with the full size sub..  Replace your upstairs beam with the Arc.  I would probably want to setup a bedroom with the era 300s + sub mini.  You can then use the Beam + Ones for a 4th room, or split them up as needed for your home.  Honestly, you could quite possibly sell those for more than you paid for the entire lot to recoup your costs.

Thank you thank you for all the feedback. I’m going to snap those babies up today. I’m sure I’ll be back on the forum. Once I try to figure out what I’m going to do with all of my equipment.
