Upgrade to Move 2 to enable turntable use

I am thinking of upgrading my Move to a Move 2 (which has line-in connection).  I would like to use the Move 2 to play from my record deck which has an amp. I have the Sonos adaptor and  the cable. I would hope to then be able to group the Move 2 to the rest of my Sonos speakers to play music from the turntable.

I think this should work, but before I make the upgrade investment I wanted to check if anyone else has successfully done this?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, connecting a turntable with a preamp to a Move 2, using the Sonos Line-In adapter, will allow you to group your other Sonos speakers to play the Line-In audio. You are also able to specify a room, so the turntable audio does not necessarily have to also play on the Move 2.

I am doing similar but using the cheaper Era 100.  Far cheaper option that a Port, and in the case of the Move 2, you have a portable speaker for other uses.
