Hi there, @Whatacalamity
I have a Pro-Ject T1SB, which I connect via to an ERA100 via the RCA output cable and a SONOS RCA to USB-C adapter.
The Pro-Ject T1SB is a simple turntable, and as I got it for £250 from a local Hi-Fi retailer, it was a bargain to allow me to play vinyl via my SONOS system, and I added the a 2nd ERA100 for £179 which I picked up during the SONOS sales, to make a stereo pair, which provides a great sound in my small Lounge. It also allows for playback via my SONOS Ray (also in the Lounge) and my old SONOS 1 in the kitchen.
However, the SONOS 1 sound quality is not the best and not a patch on the ERA100, which is lightyears ahead in quality and technology over my original SONOS 1.
Not sure how easy it is to connect the Victrola turntables to a SONOS system, but I think the Onyx is Bluetooth only so would only be compatible with SONOS products which have Bluetooth, which the 1’s don’t support. The Stream Carbon, I’m not sure about, but it professes to have full connectivity to SONOS via Victrola’s Stream App. However, I have no experience of this, so can’t say how well it would work.
I’m sure someone here will have wise words and experience to offer, otherwise if you’ve got a local Hi-Fi store perhaps pop in and have a chat with them?
Good luck in bringing your vinyl back to life.
Hey! I just got the Victrola Stream. It connects to your home Wi-Fi and finds/plays Sonos that way. Bluetooth is NOT required. It’s very easy to set up, and will work with any Sonos products that you have on your home Wi-Fi.

Thanks Paul, that is a bargain you got then! Ours was £400 from the Sonos website, didn’t think it was worth that. I think I need to buy the Era 100 then once I find a turntable I like. If I do this with the Era 100, will this then link up to my other Sonos 1 speakers around the house If I want to play vinyl in other rooms?

Jane, the answer is yes. Once you have the turntable connected via a Sonos USB to Line in adapter to the ERA100 you can play that source to ANY and EVERY other Sonos speaker in you system. You can also, for example, play the Music from the turntable on your 1’s whilst playing a different source on the ERA100’s. So you have full flexibility and one of the reasons why the Sonos system was so poular.
