Yes. A Line-In can be played anywhere.
Note that your TT will need a phono preamp, either built-in or standalone.

Forgot to mention. My main room setup has two era 100s as a surround pair. So thinking using a third standalone speaker is the workaround.
Indeed. The Line-In is not available on surround speakers.
