help adding Play:3 to sony turntable

Hi

i can’t seem to pair via Bluetooth my gen5 to my new Sony PS LS 310 BT, it does have a preamp included 

I am not very good with tech but brought this as seemed easy with the reviews, but not for me 

i am sure I read the gen5 would work, I also have other player 1 but don’t think these would work

any help really appreciated

A PLAY:3 has no Bluetooth. You’ll need to either add a Sonos speaker that has Bluetooth built in, or add a Sonos with a physical line in.

I assume you own a Sonos Five or Play 5 since there ‘s no such thing as a Sonos gen5. Can you explain how you connected the Sony with your Play 5?

Yes sorry just checked and it’s a play 3
