Can someone tell me if there’s a cheaper way to connect an era 100 to a turntable that doesn’t have bluetooth

Cheaper than the $20.00 Sonos USB C adapter? 🤔

No. You need the Sonos adapter.

Lots of more expensive options, nothing cheaper.

You need the Sonos line in adaptor.  I tried a cheaper one first but it was terrible so got a genuine Sonos one.  It definitely makes a difference.

Most of ‘the other ones’ work the other way, and won’t function with a Sonos device. Long gone are the simple analog ‘it works in both directions’ type of connections.

Even if you get one that works in the right direction it HAS TO HAVE an internal chip supported by the Sonos firmware and that support doesn't include most of them.

Your profile indicates that you have a SONOS FIVE. If this is the case and your turntable includes a phono preamp, all you need is a cable between the turntable and the FIVE. If you don’t already have such a cable, you can probably purchase one for less than the cost of the SONOS adapter.

Regardless, you can play the turntable through any combination of SONOS players.
