if I connect the rca output to the new Era speakers, will the Era the link to all my One speakers to hear the vinyl around the house?
thanks in advance for your replies

Even though this has been covered in many other posts… Yes it will.
Any Sonos device with line in is capable of doing what you are asking. The Era 100/300 need the USB C to 3.5mm adapter, that is a separate accessory. Just make sure the turntable either has a built in preamp or you will need an external preamp if it does not.

The clever thing with Sonos devices is that you can use the Era input as a source for your Ones, but be playing something completely different on the Era itself.
A lot of folks pick up an audio/USB converter thinking they are all the same. They aren’t.
The Sonos one takes in Line-Level audio and converts it to the USB input, no clue just what that conversion is on the USB end as I’ve never seen it documented.
Many others take a USB digital audio signal and convert it to Line-Level audio. I have several of these replacing poor PC audio circuitry. Aside form any other issue they convert the WRONG way.
Get the Sonos adapters, get them working. Then try swapping them out for other devices and if you find any that work please let us know which ones, in as much detail as possible.
