Question

Connecting turntable

I have a Beam, Sub Mini and two Ikea Symfonisk speakers for my system.  My wife’s dad gave her a turntable and lots of decent vinyl.  We want to add the turntable to the Sonos system, but not sure of the best, cost-efficient way to achieve this.

The turntable is an older Sony with no preamp and only RCA out.  Should I get a preamp with a Port to connect to the system?  Is there a turntable that will connect to the system?

You will need an external phono preamp, and a Sonos device with a line in (Amp, Port, Era 100/300 speaker with line-in adapter).

The most cost efficient way would be an Era 100 with the line in converter. Yes you will still need a preamp to connect to any Sonos device.

The Victrola Onix Stream can be used with Sonos with no additional wires, if you wanted to go that route.
