Connecting a remote turntable wirelessly to a Sonos Connect system

I have a stand alone turntable/ receiver combo whose speakers are no longer functional.  I have a separate receiver with Sonos connect in another room that can play through a 5.1 surround system or Room 2 stereo speakers.  Since the turntable is in the far end of the house and needs to stay there, I’d like to connect it wirelessly to the Sonos Connect.  The Brennan VB1 looks to be the top choice...any others devices or approach suggestions would be appreciated.

Why aren't you considering any of the Sonos options that offer a line-in connection?

THIS ^ I’ve connected my turntable and iPod directly to my ERA 100’s & 300’s. Also used a Port to do the same with powered bookshelf speakers.

I’m asking about wireless because a line in would require moving the turntable from the other room to the receiver with the connect.  There is no room in the cabinet with the connect.

I love the Port but aside from looks it is just too much money to be used only as a line-in device.

I see what you mean now Stanley…

If I use say an Era 100 SL with line in from my turntable’s receiver, it will “link” to my connect to play through that receiver’s speakers.  Question:  When the ERA 100 SL “links” to the Connect, can I turn the ERA 100 SL off or does it have to play while the other rooms speakers play?

The line-in is used as a source, you can select it from any speaker. If it isn't selected by your 100 SL it won't play from it.
