Connect WiFi turntable to Sonos One system via computer

We have an older Sonos One system. It works well for streaming, but we have a number of records we’d like to play. At this point, we have not purchased a turntable, so are open to suggestions.

As we have Ones, there’s no way to use wired or Bluetooth connections. Is there a way to use one of our computers to act as an intermediary between a WiFi turntable and our Sonos Ones?

Since you haven't bought a turntable yet you might look at the Victrola brand that connects directly to your Sonos over the network.

There is not. You will need a Sonos device with line in to accomplish what you intend to do.

Have a look at this web page for mor information:

As you will see, the least expensive option is to add an Era 100 with the line in adapter, but there are other options as well.

Just make sure you purchase a turntable with a built in preamplifier, or you will have to add a preamplifier between the turntable and Sonos device

Just to clarify, that is a phono pre-amp also known as a phono stage, either built into the turntable or standalone if not. A full hifi pre-amplifier not needed.
