Connect vinyl-player to Symfonisk

Hi,

I would like to connect a vynil-player (for example the AT-LP120BT) to the sonos-ikea speaker Symfonisk which has only wifi/ethernet connection. Could you please help me in finding the easiest (and possibly cheapest) way to connect the two devices? For example, it is not clear if a Sonos port is enough or I need the Sonos Amp, or other devices.

Thanks for your help!

I have found on amazon this device which seems to have RCA audio as input and ethernet as output:

Can I use it to connect the vynil-player to the Symfonisk speaker with its ethernet port? That would be awesome!

That will not work.  You need one Sonos device with an analog input.  The least expensive path is an Era 100 with the line-in dongle sold separately. Next in line would be the Port.

Thanks for replying @jgatie ! You have suggested all these devices because the sum of the costs is the cheapest, right? I guess that I can have the connection with the amp, only, right?

Thanks again!

Yes.  The units with a Line-In are the Era 100/300 w/ dongle, Port, Five, and Amp.  Though unless you have a need to power passive speakers, the Amp is an expensive way to get a Line-In.
