Unable to connect my sonos port to a Denon-29F turntable, through a yamaha receiver (turntable does not have a pre-amp). Hoping to use the port to play my turntable through Five and Move speakers throughout the house.

Connect the TT to the Phono input on your Yamaha Receiver and select that as the playback source (to output the audio to the Sonos line-in).. so simply use the two RCA Line-IN/OUT connections to your Sonos Port. See attached.

What is the make/model of the Yamaha Receiver?

Why not just use a pre-amp inbetween the TT and Port line-in instead and then output from the Port to your Receiver using either an RCA analog, or digital coax, connection?

I have a Yamaha R-N303 receiver I am trying to use. My original setup before Sonos connected the turntable to the receiver with its pre-amp, so I am trying to use the equipment I already have, instead of buying another piece on what I am spending on with the port and 5.

Ken - This worked. Thanks for the troubleshooting assist. I did not have the TT in to the phono input and receiver set to that input. Thought I needed it connected to and set on the Line input. Appreciate it!
