Hi everyone,

im super confused about how I can get a turntable to work with my current setup. I recently bought a Victrola stream carbon and it worked great until the belt started slowing down and as a result of this, I have returned the turntable. I need an alternative.

I have 2 One’s and a Sub Mini in a 2.1 setup. I am looking for connect a turntable to this setup so that sound plays through this system, but none of them have a line in input. What do I need to buy (besides a new turntable with a preamp) to get the turntable to play thorough my 2.1 setup, and if I upgrade the one’s to era 100’s, and connect a turntable through line in, will it still play to to both era 100’s and the sub?

any advice appreciated. Thank you!

You could keep the Play1s and Sub and just get a Single ERA 100 (or even a Move 2).  Plug the Turntable into that and share top the Play 1/Sub set up.  The tuntable does not need to be playing out of the ERA 100 to work in your system once the tuntable is plugged in it is just treated as a Music source like any other source.

Yes, the 100’s would be the solution. You’ll need the line-in adaptor too, don’t forget.
When they’re a stereo pair the Sonos environment takes care of sending left channel to left speaker and right to right, plus low frequency to Sub, so set up the turntable and connect it to whichever  ’100 is more convenient.

The standard Sonos option for this purpose would be the Port, though the Port is more expensive then an Era 100 plus adaptor.

Thanks for all your responses.

i should clarify that the setup is

2 x Sonos One Gen 2

1 x Sub Mini

so if I replace the ones with 2 era 100s, and plug in a turntable to one of those, I’ll retain my 2.1 sound as the era 100 that’s plugged in will stream to the whole 2.1 setup?

cheers
