sonos s1 controller not opening in mac os 13.6.1

hi All, I cannot seem to load S1 controller on a new Mac with OS 13.6.1 with apple M2 processor.  Most of my system is first generation legacy.  Any ideas from the Sonos gurus in the community.  Many thanks in advance!  -Bill

Have you called in to Sonos?

I don’t run S1 myself, so I can’t test this on my M1 Mac, much less an M2.

Having the same problem. I had deleted the desktop app that was working but would not update. Now cannot install again.  Also have some S2 units and app won’t update.

Hi all. I am now sorted downloaded app from https://support.sonos.com/en-us/downloads and seems OK now. Good luck Bill.

hi martincornwall, did you download S1 or S2 version?  S1 version still hangs up for me on OS 13.6.1. thx, Bill

Having the same issue.  I get an error message when trying to either update or reload the app. I am on Sonoma 14.2, but was having the same problem with 13.6.1.  I have a mini-mac with M2 chip.
