Issue connecting Sonos One and Connect:Amp to the same room

I’ve been trying to connect my Sonos One and Sonos Connect:Amp to the same system, but whenever I try to add the second product to the room that the first one is connected to, the room the first one is connected to does not show up in the list. I am using the S1 app, since my Connect:Amp is only compatible with this app. Thanks for the help!

You can’t put them in the same ‘room’ as far as Sonos is concerned. When you add the second product it will need its own room name, even if it’s simply ‘Living Room 2’.

You can, once @ratty ‘s suggestion is done, group them so the play the same stream in sync.

The Sonos way a room works is that a “room” is a speaker or predefined set of speakers. A One and an Connect:amp are not such a set. The Google room definition is much more like a physical room.
