Hello,

is the hdmi cable included with sonos beam gen2 an hdmi 2.1 cable?

Excuse me if i sound wierd but judging from my other hdmi 2.1 cables which are very thick braided cables, seeing how flexible and thin is the hdmi of sonos beam gen2 make me think this is an hdmi 2.0 cable. I have this concern because very rarely my sonos beam gen2 loses the sound output of my pc. I have an lg cx oled as a pc monitor and i have set the audio to passthrough and enabled earc so all the settings are correct. Is it possible that this cable doesnt have enough bandwith to transfer the audio?

Thanks a lot.

It is an HDMI 2.1 cable that is able to transfer high bandwidth audio codecs like lossless Dolby TrueHD and multichannel PCM.

A cable does not need much bandwidth to transport sound. The Sonos cable is fit for purpose.
