Beam not playing. It is connected to wifi, but cannot be found either through Spotify or Sonos app. However, when I ask Alexa to play Spotify it works???? But still doesn’t show in app. I’ve deleted and reinstalled updated app. My play 5 is working fine. Not sure what else to do. Thanks

All in one place:

Power down ALL Sonos.

Reboot the router.

Power the Sonos back up.

If you have to do this often it can usually be avoided by using the router’s DHCP Settings page to assign ALL Sonos a static/reserved IP address. The router’s page should have instructions. Once done do the three steps above to lock in the new addresses.

Have you tried unplugging the Beam from power for about a minute?

You should try rebooting your router too.

And, should push come to shove, try temporarily running an Ethernet cable between your router and the Beam. Once you’ve got the device showing in the controller, you can likely remove the temporary cable.
