In my entertainment room for music listening only, I have across the length of the large room:

One end - 1 x Era 300 + Sub mini

Opposite end - 2x Era 300s + Sub Gen 3

I used to have the 2 eras paired in stereo with the Sub Gen 3, but recently I’ve been playing around with the system.

i unpaired all to run as individual units, then paired the sub mini with the one era 300 and on the other side I paired one era 300 with the Sub Gen 3.

so technically I have 3 rooms grouped:

era 300 + sub mini

era 300 + sub Gen 3

era 300

NB. I have not run trueplay as yet.

i noticed when playing the group, the Sub Gen 3 bass cuts out, but not the sub mini. If I turn the sub mini off, the sub Gen 3 kicks in in play.

any idea why this happens?

Thanks,

V

Hi @Villen

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your Sub Gen 3 cutting out.

The issue itself is very strange, I’m not sure why the Sub Mini playing would cause your other Sub to cut out. If the Sub Gen 3 is playing while the Sub Mini is off, does it stop playing when you turn the Sub Mini back on? I’d also try grouping from the Era 300 with the Sub Gen 3 first (so play something to the Era 300/Sub Gen 3, then group the other speakers) to see if that helps.

Without a deeper look into the system, I can’t say exactly what’s going wrong here. I’d recommend submitting a diagnostics then contacting our support team for further troubleshooting assistance, as they have the necessary tools available to look into your system and help you resolve this.
