Hello. I have connected 2 ERA100 via Bluetooth to my Halo+ Xgimi projector. Sound is not stable and is breaking up. I tried with my Move2 and it works fine. But with the ERA100 it doesn’t work properly as if there was some micro cuts all the time.

Hi @Lobobueno

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

Sorry to hear of this issue you are having with connecting your Era 100 speakers to your projector with Bluetooth.

While I agree with @jgatie in that you would be better-off with a speaker designed for the purpose with which you are using it, I think it is suspicious that your Move 2 works fine over Bluetooth while your Era 100s do not - I recommend you get in touch with our technical support team who have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and what it reports.

I hope this helps.

Are the Era 100s set up as a stereo pair?

Hi. Yes. I initially tried with 1 ERA100 but discovered the issue. Then I bought a 2nd ERA100 thinking it would solve the pbm. But no...

Ideally, I’d love the Halo+ Xgimi to connect to all my Sonos via Wifi but it seems that Sonos doesn’t recognize it. That’s why I am going bluetooth

No TV source can connect to Sonos via WiFi.  The connection between a TV and a Sonos product has to be HDMI-ARC or optical.   Personally, I would never use Bluetooth signal, to Sonos or otherwise, it’s too unreliable.  You need to invest in a Sonos Amp or soundbar.

Hi jgatie. Thanks for replying. I understand but I’d like to avoid adding a product. Why does it work well in bluetooth with the move2 and not with the ERA100?

Could be anything.  Distance from source.  Interference of some kind.  The link between the pairs having WiFi trouble.  Bluetooth just isn’t that reliable.

Hello; what is meant by this statement? Is a stereo-paired set of Era 100s not “designed” to be used with the XGIMI Halo+ (or any) projector?

“you would be better-off with a speaker designed for the purpose with which you are using it”

No, they are  not.  Sonos makes soundbars and the Amp for use with TV sources.
