Connecting to new WiFi

Got new WiFi yesterday and can't connect my Sonos 5 (2nd gen). I get the 'Let's Fix It' message but then the app just says 'Sonos not found'.

Does anyone know how to sort this?

Thank you

Yes, see this support article…

I would opt to use ‘wired’ mode SonosNet and then add the new router credentials via the network settings whilst all are running on SonosNet as mentioned in the final paragraph.

Thank you. I was wondering if I would have to do this but hoping I wouldn't as it's a bit of a faff. Thank you though, I will give it a try.

You only need wire one Sonos device only to your new router and ‘perhaps’ power-cycle the others to get them to appear in the App, then add the new WiFi credentials via the App network settings (also remove your old WiFi credentials) - Then uncable the one device and all will run on your new WiFi signal (note the SSID/Password for the new WiFi are cAsE SenSiTivE. 😁)

Connecting vis iPAD to wireless, there is no Ethernet to use.  What’s after that?

Standard Comcast business router.

Standard Comcast business router.

Maybe check it meets the wireless network requirements and security modes mentioned in the requirements here:

https://support.sonos.com/en-us/article/sonos-system-requirements

Supported WiFi modes and security standards

All Sonos products can connect to wireless routers or access points that support 802.11b/g WiFi over 2.4GHz. Additionally, all Sonos products can connect to WiFi networks that use WPA1 and WPA2 Personal security standards, as well as unsecured WiFi networks.

Here are the mobile controller requirements too:
