connecting beam

I relocated back to Australia from UK and having difficulty connecting my beam to my TV. Both products were purchased in the UK, appreciate help from somebody

As far as I’m aware, there is no ‘regionality’ on CEC, which is what Sonos uses to connect your Beam to the TV set. A couple of warnings, though. First, make sure you’re using a correct HDMI cable…preferably the one Sonos provides, but any HDMI cable rated above 1.4 (I think…higher is better) should work. Cables lower than HDMI 1.4 won’t work, they can’t carry ARC.

Also, make sure you’ve plugged the HDMI cable into the ARC labeled port on your TV. Oh, and make sure CEC (or whatever your TV manufacturer calls it, since we don’t know what you own) is turned on.
