I have an almost one your old Sonos Beam. Until today, the white status LED was on whenever the Beam was playing, and after a while idle the LED turned off automatically.Since today, the white led stays on all the time, also after hours ofo being idle. I know I can turn off the LED permanently in the app, but I don't want to do that. I like the led being one when the device is in use, and disappear when it's not.I already factory resetted the Beam as well as reinstalled the app, but this didn't help.Funny enough I read everywhere on the internet that the white led never turns off itself. But I am 100% sure mine did. It's frustrating me.Does anyone hava a solution? Is the white status light on your Beam turning off after being idle for a while?
Hi I’m struggling to find any guidance on this, does anyone have a link please
Hi I have Disney+ installed on my AppleTV.When I watch movies via Netflix or HBO via AppleTV, I can normally just swipe down and select my Sonos One SL speakers as output, but it seems that this option does not exists in the Disney+ app. If I swipe down in the Disney+ app, I can only select Subtitles and Audio Language, not any devices. Does anyone know if this is a known limitation or an issue that can be fixed? Thanks :-)Jorgensen
So I have a question - I’m connecting my iPhone to wired pair of One SL’s via Airplay 2 using an IPhone. I have several Patreon links as Podcasts that I can’t determine how to play any other way. So this will play correctly on the room I connect to directly but other speakers as connected will often drop out. So the behavior is that it connects correctly and other speakers/rooms added will often fail. I assumed that Sonos would connect to Airplay 2 and then distribute on Sonos. Is this not the case?
Hi, I have a Sony Bluetooth turntable and wondering if connected by BT to a Sonos Roam, I can then share the turntable music with paired Sonos speakers in the same and other grouped rooms with Sonos speakers .Appreciate any advice.Ian
My Sonos Move won’t power on. I’ve had it for about 18 months. When I place it on the charger, the orange “I’m charging” light on the front of the speaker comes on for a few seconds, and then goes off. No other lights come on, and it does not respond to any button. I called Sonos support and they said that the would send me a new unit - I just had to fill out the email form they would send me. However, the email form says that because it’s out of warrantee, they’re going to charge me about 80% of the cost of a new one, So now, before I throw it in the garbage or salvage it for parts, I’m wondering if the battery is dead and needs to be replaced. How can I tell if the battery needs to be replaced?
Anyone want to buy all my Sonos speakers Cheap. just over it
I have three Sonos Player 1s. I saw old posts with this same topics, but no resolution. I have not used these speakers in a week, yet my home Network with 3 Ubiquity APs running about 30 clients show the top 3 highest upload to network are the three Sonos players. Mind you, I have four professional adults working from home and two kids home schooling. Our work apps and video conferences should be eclipsing any other upload. Why the heck is Sonos showing at 140MB, 100MB and 98 MB upload each yet they are not even in use? What the heck are they uploading? I have ipad and iphone apps for Sonos, background refresh turned off, but bluetooth and local network turned on. Version 11.2.4, Build 57.4.83220, Sonos S1. use alexa, spotify...
Hi! I have a Sonos One and a Sonos One SL. Both are connected to the same 5GHz wifi at home and actually works fine. The only problem I have is that One SL shows up just fine in my network map but Sonos One does not show up. I’ve tried rebooting my Linksys router, factory reset and reconnected Sonos One but it still refuses to show up in my network map. Again, the One SL is showing up just fine all the while. Any ideas/suggestions/help would be much appreciated.
My Sonos move works great on both wi-fi and Bluetooth, except that when it is connected via wi-fi and I am watching or listening to something (on any platform: YouTube, streaming services, VLC, Spotify, QuickTime, etc.) and I hit pause, when I press play again the sound cuts out. This has happened on four different MacBooks, iPhones, iPad, etc. The only solution I have found is to manually go to audio controls on the device and change the audio output to the internal speaker, then switch back to Sonos. Then it works again. If I pause a movie a few times that means doing this every single time to get Sonos back.Is this meant to happen? It’s been like that since I got the speaker and I’ve kind of accepted it as a flaw. This does not happen on bluetooth; only wifi.
Hi All Love my system (WD NAS, 4 x Play 1, Playbase, Sub, one of those IKEA ones and soon to be Roam), but not the most tech savvy! Current system components are in fixed locations and named so e.g Lounge, Kitchen etc When the Roam arrives, it will live in a Spare Bedroom, so when set up it will be named that. When i take it out into the garden or somewhere else and leave my wifi network, will it still be listed as a component in my system? And when it goes back on to the network, will it automatically recognise it and name it as previously e.g Spare Bedroom? Thanks, and sorry for being a techno-pleb!
Dear support,I have 2 play5 (gen2) and 1 AMP. Can I set surround speakers?
I have two Play 5 speakers and both had the upgrade option. I used one to buy the Arc home theater set and I love it so much I thought I would order just an arc for my dad. When I go to upgrade my other Play 5 it no longer has the upgrade option. My first one says it has been used for the program but my second one just shows nothing but the speaker. Has Sonos changed their policy? Is it just one upgrade per household now? Thank you
We have a Sonos One and Sonos SL paired on stereo, controlled by a Amazon Echo Dot 3rd gen. I notice quite often I have to increase the volume on the SL speaker, they sound great in stereo but constantly keep losing volume on the LH SL speaker. Is this normal or is the speaker faulty. Any advice appreciated
why can't I play my own music on Sonos, All it's wants is for me to pay for streaming services
Hi. I have an Arc set up with Sub, 1SL as surround with Sky Q and recently purchased a new Philips Atmos TV. I'm fairly OK I've set it all up correctly. When I select the DD+ set up in audio sections of Sky and the TV menu the main sound via the Arc is weak/tinny/faint. For example the app shows 5.1 and the surround sound is immense but the spoken portions of films or general audio via the Arc is quieter, especially with sports, compared to the surround sound/music/effects which are so loud. It's imbalanced. When I switch all the DD+ off and the apps shows Stero PCM the Arc is more powerful/meatier but the surround is slightly less immense but still is an awesome sound. Any tips???
I’m in the process of filling my whole house with Sonos speakers (aren’t we all?). I’m not getting into the super fancy ceiling speakers or anything so for music my choices are pretty limited, One or Five. I really like to have a wide sound field so for each room I have to decide either a pair of Ones or a pair of Fives, essentially $360 or $1000 per room. I suspect that given this huge increase in price none of my rooms will end up with Fives and I’m going to have a whole bunch of One SLs everywhere. I love the Ones but always wonder how much better each room would sound with Fives. Sure would be nice if there was some middle option for like $300-350 per speaker so I could put something just a little better in some rooms.
Hello Sonos family,Today I've bought Sonos Five speaker and right after unboxing I saw two strange things at the front. You can see it here:https://imgur.com/a/LNAFwQXIs it normal look of these speakers? Should I do something to make it disappear?
I just bought a sonos speaker (symfonisk) and i want to play spotify on it. i added spotify using the app, logged in to spotify and permitted access. Now i can open spotify in the sonos app i see all my playlists. On the spotify webpage is see my sonos account added to the accepted connections so all should be fine. When i start a spotify song from within the sonos app its giving me a loading circle for 15 seconds and it tells me that the song cant be played and that spotify is disconnected. The speaker has perfect connection and all other streaming services and radio work perfect. For some reason the authorization between sonos and spotify goes wrong on the speaker or in the app. I tried restarting my router and did a full reset on the speaker without any luck. Before people start giving me advice to update the speaker…. i allready did it today and checked again but there is no newer version. im on 13.0 build 1.20.3.3-2.0I always thought sonos was a good manufacturer. Guess i was i wro
So I fully charged my Move when I received it, used it for about 20 minutes and a week later tried to use it at a new location. When I tried to connect it, the lights on it were all dead. I know I can just charge it but do I have a lemon?Or when you move to a new location is this normal? Thanks!
Is it me or is the Move battery life ridiculously bad ?I have owned many portables (Harmon Kardon, JBL, Jawbone). They all make the battery life on my new Move a joke. How can a premium product so bad ?
I have a long room in which I have two Play:1s set up as a stereo pair. I’d like to put another Play 1 in the room so that there is a L-R-L setup, with the R in the middle of the room. That way I have stereo sound on the left side of the room, and stereo sound on the right as well (albeit reversed). Is there a way to add a Play:1 as a left-only speaker? Whenever I set it up, it is only available as mono.
Hello - I’ve got Sonos gear set up in two houses. How would the Roam handle that? Can I seamlessly connect the Roam to my Sonos networks in both houses as I travel between them? Thanks
Hi, I am interested in purchasing a Sonos Move to have as a second Bluetooth speaker in my home. I already own an Anker Soundcore 2. What I am wondering is, will I be able to play an audiobook for my son (from my phone) on the Anker bluetooth speaker while simultaneously playing music for myself in the next room on the Sonos Move (also from my phone)? Thanks!
As per the title. When away from WiFi and in Bluetooth mode, can you still use the Sonos app to control/play music to a Roam for access to Sonos playlists, favourites etc?
